On our last night at this hotel. Can honestly say, after being at every star of hotel all over the world, this was one of the best. Firstly the food was amazing, we went all inclusive. Every night the food is different, which is a rarity for All inclusive. Between 10am and midnight there is also a pool side bar. The bar serves the normal like ice cream and drinks as well as any snack food you can think off. Free of charge which is great. The staff have excellent CS skills and are so friendly. The room was beyond expectation. I had booked this last minute as a little getaway and not paid too much but our room was HUGE. We had 2 balconies and a separate bedroom to the lounging area. The beds are the comfiest thing I have ever slept on and the shower was amazing. We were in room 3112. There is nothing at all bad to say about this place.
We have just returned from a great week-long stay. We have stayed in four and five star, all inclusive hotels and found meals very boring and repetitive. The food here is interesting, varied and fantastic. The staff, throughout the hotel, are very friendly and hard working. The reception staff are welcoming, the restaurant staff are friendly and attentive, the animation team work tirelessly throughout the day and evening, keeping kids and adults entertained and the cleaning staff ensure the rooms are cleaned to a high standard, on a daily basis. The bar staff are great. They work very hard, day and night, always with a smile on their face, yet find time to bond with guests. We stayed during the summer half-term week. I suspect the hotel had capacity for a lot more guests - as a result, it did not feel crowded, nor were there issues in getting a sun lounger, at any time of the day. As a four star hotel, this met and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend.
I find it hard to believe that none of the reviews of this hotel seem to mention the depressing nature of this part of Mallorca. Perhaps if you haven't seen some of the lovelier, less gaudy and destroyed by tourism areas of the island, you would think that this is just how it is in Mallorca. We were visiting the island for the first time from North America, and not having a good sense of the lay of the land, decided to stay in multiple parts of the island to ensure we saw a lot and found at least some areas we liked. Thank goodness we didn't just stay in Cala Millor. There are gorgeous parts of the island but Cala Millor was absolutely one of my least favourite, on a par with Magaluf for an area largely blighted by tourism. The whole lay of the town, with British/German pubs featuring football as standard, and tacky penis-bottle-opener souvenirs everywhere was so off-putting and not at all what I came to Mallorca for. Romantic or tasteful this was not. We were fortunate to have stayed in other more beautiful and much more tastefully developed parts of the island as well so that we didn't leave Mallorca thinking that the whole island was like Cala Millor. The hotel itself just ok-- as many have said, the air conditioning either doesn't work, or is made not to function outside of high summer. There were daily ant swarms in our room, so I'm not sure why people say the rooms were very clean. And our second floor room looked only out at a tacky tourist vendor's shop. The food was ok and the breakfast did have lots of options, but we didn't stay for dinner or lunches. Please if you are coming to Mallorca to experience the island and its beauty, do not come to Cala Millor though! Wish we hadn't spent our nights here at all and would definitely not recommend that people looking to experience Mallorca base themselves in Cala Millor.
Been to this hotel a few times now and the place is great and food is always good and the rooms are always good and clean we always like it here it's really close to everything you need like kid parks and rides shops and restaurants very nice place
Just got back from a great stay at Cala Millor Park. Very shortly before we left for our holiday (on enquiring about mobility scooter hire at the hotel, for my disabled partner) we discovered that our high st name travel agent had failed to book us a disabled room as we had requested. However the hotel said if we would take a standard room for the first night they would move us to a disabled room the next day, which they did. Both rooms were modern, clean and a good size, the disabled room was very slightly smaller but with a wet room bathroom, there is a 3cm step over the runners for the patio doors out to the balcony, otherwise everything is on the same level, the lifts are not the biggest you can just get a wheelchair with someone standing close behind inside. outside everything is on the same level, with disabled toilets near the pool area and we found every member of staff very helpful. A special mention to Erica in the animation team who was very helpful on the Karokie night and Toni the waiter who we enjoyed a lot of banter with. Some reviews have commented on the high level of German guests, well sorry if you only want to meet the English stay in England!!! We enjoyed many interesting chats with our fellow EU guests and on an evening when I had to take to my bed due to heat stroke, my partner went down to the outdoor entertainment on her own and a number of them offered to push wheelchair for her and invited her to join them. If you need to hire a mobility scooter you could do worse than try Lower Hire, we paid 50 Euro's for 5 days hire and if you like your football there's an English sports bar a very short walk away and across the road from that is a great Tapas place. So we would just like to thank everyone at the Cala Millor Park for giving us a wonderful week in Spain. Simon and Mimi.
Just home after a lovely stay at this hotel with my family! The staff are very friendly and loved my little girl! Guests are mainly from Germany so there was a bit of a language barrier but we didn't find this a problem. Food was amazing and delicious! Such a varied selection every day for dinner which was great!! Breakfast was the same selection every day but still very yummy. Lunch wasn't as nice as dinner but the pool bar does do snacks too and there's always a nice salad bar! One thing we did miss being particularly British is the lack of tea and coffee at the lunch time and dinner service in the restaurant. You can get from the pool bar but we'd have liked it at the dinner table after our meal/with dessert. High chairs don't have a tray for babies so we had her on our lap to feed as they were also a bit big for her. The waiters were very accommodating and friendly. Pool was chilly but it was start of season, we'd use the indoor pool instead which was pleasant! Stayed in a junior suite which was a really decent size! Gorgeous sea view! Seemed sound proof enough! Bathroom decent size but we felt it could do with a handrail for the shower as it was a tad slippery! Maid service was daily, our bottom sheet never seemed to get changed though (I know this as I spilt a little calpol on it and continued to see this here at night time) but oddly the top sheets were changed?! But we were pleasantly surprised by a towel shaped swan one day which was lovely :-) and my nephew adored his towel shaped elephant too!! :-) Evening entertainment when outside was a tad chilly but they supplied nice cosey blankets and on our last night fire pits were put out! Kids club was ok but I'd never leave my kid on their own as it seemed no register was taken and children were running in and out freely from what is meant to be a secured room. This was the case when I took my nephew one day which I found slightly disconcerting. Good selection of all inclusive drinks! All in all a lovely hotel, great location, great service and great food !! I wish we stayed longer than a week!! Maybe another visit could be on the cards! :-)
having been told by friends that this was a super hotel I decided to give it a try,all I can say is it surpassed all my expectations, first class in all aspects.friendly staff, food and facilities first rate.would recommend highly.
Great last minute girlie break to relax and soak up a bit of sun. Hotel nice but area very quite not a lot open. Like a ghost town at night. Hotel staff very friendly very clean and great food options on all inclusive. Evening entertainment left a lot to be desired but you can't have it all. Venture out to the sea front as lovely places to stop for a spot of tapas.. We took a boat trip around the islands and caves.
This is the second time we have stayed here and again it was a great Holiday. Ok here are my main points good and bad. Not so good first. The outdoor pool is luvly, but needs to be heated even if only slightly, people who don't like swimming in the sea would find this fantastic and would be a great addition to the Hotels services, a great selling point. Room was looking slightly shabby in areas but only minor issues Now the good Staff ALL were very attentive and a pleasure to chat too. To name a few who stood out Dada and Toni from the bar area were extremely good. The Food very tasty and a varied selection every day 😆 Wifi very good throughout the hotel Carlos and Erica and Noche The Entertainment team did a great job in keeping the kids and adults entertained each evening. Great Hotel perfect location, Great value for money. And its not full of Germans, it has a good mix of countries !!!!
The hotel is ideally situated near the beach and about 10 minutes walk from the resort to cala millor town. Boat trips are nearby to other towns like porto cristo which can be booked at the hotel reception. The animation team were brilliant especially Nacho, Erica and Carlos. The barman Loius was enterataining and kept our little one entertained with slush puppies. Get a lot for your money at this hotel. Plenty of sunbeds if thats your thing so people don't need to hog them with towels. Food was very nice and they had themed evenings too. Was nice to have an indoor pool and spa with sauna and steam room too. Only pay for massages and the rest is free. We had no fault to this hotel at all. There were 6 of us so we had a 1 bedroom apartment and a junior suite which were both huge and catered for our needs. We liked it that much we have all booked to go back in Septemeber this year....
