Just back after a wonderful week at this hotel, with my husband for my 70th Birthday. We can't fault anything about this hotel, and resort. Food is amazing here. Breakfast buffet was included in our price and it was just delicious and the choice was endless! We had dinner in the restaurant 3 nights which was a buffet for 24€ each which was great value for buffet and food was delicious. Staff are wonderful and so obliging - Gabriel and Guillem were so welcoming! This hotel has something for all ages. It was very quiet after 10pm when the entertainment finished. Which suited us nicely! This hotel is a 4 star but with a 5 star service.

We stayed here in May this year on a bed and breakfast basis. Our room overlooked the carpark which at times was very noisy with coaches arriving at all hours so if possible I would suggest you opt for a room overlooking the pool. The breakfast was excellent and catered for all choices. It was extremely busy at times but we managed to suss out the quieter times and the restaurant area is large so always found a seat, there is a lovely area in the garden to eat but this was very popular. The hotel was ideally situated for the beach and also the excellent bus service which we used to visit other parts of this lovely island. One day we walked from our hotel along the beach to Alcudia and visited the Old Town of Alcudia which was very interesting. Another day we got the bus into Palma and then another one to Soller on the north coast which is well worth a visit. The staff in the hotel were very friendly, especially the waitress in the morning who was very efficient and always found us a table (sorry can't remember her name).

Just had a week at this fabulous hotel in Can Picaforte. It is top class definitely a 4 Star hotel with top standards. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are cleaned every day. There are plenty of sun beds to sit around the pools and in fact the hotel policy is not to reserve any sunbed, which was great. The terrace on the top floor of the hotel was lovely and you could sit and relax at night. The entertainment was top class. Top professional artistes. We decided to opt for bed and breakfast and sorry we didn't go half board. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of various dishes. We had dinner on our last night and must admit was unbelievable. If anyone ever said they didn't fancy anything that was served for dinner then there was definitely something wrong. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always a smile. The location was spot on. Out of hotel across the road and you were on the main strip of shops, restaurants and bars. This walk took you down to the beach and a lovely walk around the bay. We will definitely go back to this fabulous hotel

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gran Vista. Our room was most comfortable, being very modern and pristine, overlooking the very well appointed pool areas set in beautifully landscaped gardens. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms which, possibly, would be a downside to some guests. The staff at the hotel were Excellent, friendly and professional throughout. The food, at both breakfast and dinner, was most acceptable with something for all tastes. The only slight criticism I would make is that there were far more small children at the hotel than we anticipated which would, I am sure, be a detriment to some travellers. It must be said also that the evening Entertainment was Extremely Disappointing and, frankly, Very Amateurish ! The Hotel is Perfectly situated within easy walking distance of the beach, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops all of which create a wonderful ambience to a stay at the Gran Vista. We would, most certainly, use this hotel again in the future.

Just finished a weeks holiday at this truly amazing hotel. This was our first family holiday and I can't recommend this hotel enough. There are many amenities to keep everyone entertained. The staff go above and beyond their job to ensure that you are looked after from start to finish. The dedicated staff work tirelessly to make sure the hotel is kept to a high standard. Our son was sick and the staff arranged for a doctor to come to our room. Everyone we met was extemely friendly and we can't wait to come back again. Thank you to all the staff that made this trip so fantastic.

What we need from a holiday, lots of pools, no problems with sun beds, good food, modern rooms , great views from bedrooms and roof top bar. This hotel ticked all the boxes. Extra bonus great spa, close to shops and beach, entertainment team during day spot on. Night entertainment hit and miss with bingo only and quiz only We had no issues with the German comments that our on previous reviews although I think the language barrier at the kids club could be an issue if you have young children. We had a great stay in this hotel a couple with 2 teenage daughters

I stayed in this hotel, with my daughter and four and a half year old granddaughter from May 29th to June 8th this year. The hotel was spotless and the grounds very attractive. With such a fantastic choice of swimming pools, my granddaughter didn't give us much opportunity to rest, as she moved us from one pool to the next. Never a problem to find a sunbed though. I imagine that even in peak season there would be more than enough for everybody. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were smart and clean, but we had an extra bed in ours for the little girl, which made things not so perfect. It meant that the two full sized single beds had to be pushed together against the wall. The person on the wall side had to climb over the bed to get in and out. This meant disturbing the other person if you needed the bathroom in the night, and also there was no space for a bedside table on the wall side, to place your nighttime glass of water. The smaller bed had a tendency to move as my granddaughter got onto it and ended up against the patio door, stopping the door opening until the bed was moved. The other problem with the squashed in beds was that it meant that the beds on either side were directly under the light switches and when you sat up in bed you would lean against the switches, light up the room or plunge it into darkness. Conclusion: perfect room for two beds, but not ideal for three. Also, if you're fussy about the view from your room avoid room 450 or any close to that, or on the floors above or below with similar ending numbers. I have attached a photo of the view from our balcony. Not the hotel's property that we overlooked, so unfortunate for them too. We arrived around midnight, so the view was not visible at the time, and to be honest we weren't bothered enough to make a fuss and ask to be moved the next day, but it might matter more to some of you. We had half board. There was a good choice of well prepared food, not always a lot that appealed to me, but always something I could eat. The kid's buffet didn't appeal to my granddaughter either, but maybe we're extra fussy! Nothing wrong with food quality at all. I liked the fact that the restaurant manager walked round and warned later diners at breakfast and dinner when they were about to stop serving, so you could get what else you required before it was too late. The entertainments team did their best, but some of the evenings, it was just bingo or a quiz. The live music evenings were better, and we really enjoyed the Spanish musician who entertained us on the rooftop terrace on Tuesday night. The perfect setting to watch the sunset, enhanced by the music. While we were staying in the hotel, the majority of families were German, so the kids club was naturally geared towards them. The play leaders did make great effort to speak in English to my granddaughter and include her in their activities. There is a ball play area for little ones and a playground with swings, see saws and climbing equipment on a sandy base. My granddaughter loved the mini disco..only problem with that was often having to rush our meal to get there for the 8pm start! The pools were too good, so she was reluctant to leave them, with the knock on effect of making us rush to shower and get ready for dinner and then be short of time to eat it in a relaxed way..but she was having so much fun we didn't mind too much! My daughter used the spa a couple of times and was impressed with the facilities, but, as other reviewers have stated previously, was a bit taken aback by the nude males in areas where there shouldn't have been. The Fantasia spa (indoor pool with soft play area for children) came in handy on a rainy day! Other plus points: free fridge in room and free wifi throughout the hotel. We had a lovely time and would go back again..squashed room or otherwise!

We arrived at the hotel and were immediately amazed by the foyer and then our rooms. The welcome we received at 3 am was great. We were shown to our rooms and were very pleased with the cleanliness and quality of the furniture and the beds were very comfortable. The staff throughout all our stay were very attentive and friendly Nothing was too much trouble. We especially enjoyed using the Bistro during the day and the food was excellent especially the pizza which my daughter and we really enjoyed. The prices of the food and the drinks were very reasonable. We stayed half board and very much enjoyed the quality and variety at both the breakfast and dinner and particularly appreciated the outside seating area. All the food was cooked very well and was extremely tasty. The fish and the paella was particularly good, The grounds outside the hotel were seriously impressive, A stunning pool with a lagoon pool both surrounded by a patio and beautifully kept lawns etc. There was a crazy golf course and games area which we played table tennis almost every day. The whole experience was so good and it was only a short walk from the shops and the beach. We have to say that were were so impressed that everyone of our party of six agreed that it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Going back next year!!!

😐we stayed a week arriving on 3 June, no one welcomed us on arrival, no one offered to help us with the cases, but we did get a glass of orange juice. 😐Room average size, newly decorated, beds quite hard. No little extras like tissues, dressing gowns. Air con poor. On a plus side the room was really clean as was all of the hotel. 😂 Restaurant, breakfasts were amazing, everything you could want to eat, different breads were fantastic. Evening meals not so good, most of the hot food was bearly warm, lots of fish, making it difficult for people who don't like fish. Restaurant manager never had time to speak, didn't say good morning or evening the whole time we were there. The gardener took the time every day to say good morning. Lovely man, 😁Roof top bar was good , staff were helpful and friendly, sometimes there where bad smells on the terrace, not nice. Grounds were lovely and well looked after. 🙁Bistro bar, closes at 5pm on the dot, we were left sitting outside as they closed up! Reception, staff never spoke unless you asked then a question, Hotel not welcoming or very friendly, lacks customer service

Travelled with my 2 daughters and granddaughters at the end of May, facilities excellent. The food was very good, lots of choices. Accommodation very clean the grounds had plenty of sunbeds. Customer service was first class the managers could always be found if you had any queries and we were very grateful for the help we received. One rainy day so was able to enjoy the lovely spa. Would definitely recommend.
