We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel, as we normally stay at 4 star hotels at least. we were a little bit worried as to what to expect, but, we were very pleasantly surprised. Room was nice, basic and spotlessly clean, towels etc were changed each day. All staff were very hardworking friendly and professional. Food lovely and varied, something for everyone. We ordered lunch one day, to take away with us, it was excellent. On our departure day, as we're not leaving until 9 pm., we were able to keep our room for a reasonable fee of 25 Euro, it was well worth it, as we were able to totally relax at the island pool for the day. The only negative is, some very noisey neighbours for a couple of nights. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Really good three star hotel Ave stayed in some 4 star that are just as good .good food ,staff, really clean in all areas towels in room changed daily, pool does not provide towels which i couldn’t see from other reviews so go prepared, we were on floor 1 all I can say is I agree with the other reviews of noise from the other rooms espeicialy in the night when people return from being out, some people have no respect for other people who have already retired for the night. Booked a great trip with no frills company to Valldemossa and soller great day great guide good prices compared to Thomsons.would definitely return to alcudia and to the lagomonte hotel maybe request a higher floor, well done to all hard working staff here enjoyed 👍.
Returned a few days ago after a lovely week in Alcudia. The Lagomonte was a nice surprise, although we were all inclusive we had no expectation about the food given the amount of money we had paid. The food was of surprisingly good quality, a choice of grilled meat and fish as well as abundance of salads, pasta station, and prepared dishes of stews and the like, and delicious deserts, ice creams and fresh fruit. Self service beer and wine taps. My only criticism is that it was the same for lunch and dinner, different grill meats and fish but essentially same choices. It was ok for a week but I would think it gets very boring if staying for longer, and although service is 6.30 till 9 I wouldn't want to be much later than 8.30 as they seem to start clearing up after then. Drinks were ok as well. The rooms are basic but adequate, very clean, comfortable beds changed once during our week and clean towels every day. No toiletries other than small soap so take your own. Hairdryer in bathroom was powerful as well. The hotel is at the back of the resort and a good 20 mins walk to the beach, go round the lake and follow the canal. It's also worth a visit to the old town grab a cab from the hotel it's around €7, and there's a taxi rank in the town for getting back. All in all a well kept exceptionally clean well managed hotel, with very efficient and friendly staff.
we have just come back from this hotel dont do reviews but was so impressed with the lagomonte wanted to loved every thing about it booked with first choice as a last min deal 5 star hotel for 2 star price, First impressions we arrived at midnight not expecting anything to eat checked in and was told they were opening the resturant for snacks there was cold meats salad realy good. Have stayed in some expensive hotels and the food in this one beats them all always fresh from the steaks and the lamb chops cooked on the grill to the pizza and freshly made pasta always a good choice great for kids .The Staff were great entertainment good rooms with air con that worked and safe's that were free good size tele was good for the teenager that was with us did catch her watching disney channel a few times
We’ve just returned from this hotel on arrival we were checked in by a lovely man at desk sorry didn’t catch his name he was very polite and professional and helpful he gave us a upgrade for free which was a lovely start to our holiday so thank you lagomonte. This hotel is spotlessly clean the maids cleaned our room every day and the grounds are well kept, all the staff are friendly and work hard the room is big enough for a family it has a double pull out sofa bed as well as 2 single beds pushed together our beds were the comfiest we’ve slept in there is plenty of cupboard and draw space too and lovely hot showers the food was very good for 3 star there’s plenty to eat even for the fussy eaters and they had freshly squeezed orange juice every morning which was nice I didn’t watch all the entertainment but I did see ABBA angels an elvis impersonator and el diva which were very good there is also lots of stuff to join in and do during the day the hotel is about a 15 min walk to the beach which we enjoyed but you can get in the minibus for free which the hotel provide I will definitely go back to this hotel we had a fabulous stay thank you x
Just returned from a 10 night holiday at this hotel, and had a great time. Upon arrival we were greeted at reception from a very helpful young man, he explained everything about the hotel and directed us to our room. We stayed in a superior room which was very spacious and clean with a good sized balcony over looking the pool, with view of the lake. Food was good, a very wide range of things to choose from at all meals from breakfast through to dinner. If any meal was missed then there is a snack bar across on the island serving sufficient snacks. Also the pool bar served pre-packed sandwiches. The all inclusive drinks were great, beer on tap in the main restaurant and snack bar on the island which you helped yourself to, as was soft drinks. Alcoholic drinks at the pool bar and evening reception bar were also great, a wide range of cocktails, not all from a machine. The entertainments team can not be faulted, they did a fantastic job throughout the day around the pool and also in the evening, they took time to get to know you and join you for a chat in the evening, nothing too much for them. Special mention to Michelle(who sadly left us mid holiday), Anna, Lucas and Sam(who joined for our last few days) they all really made out holiday fun and made us want to return again next season. Good luck to you all on your new adventures. We miss you all greatly. Thanks again. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to relax, have fun and be entertained 🤗
Just returned from a weeks break at the Bellevue Lagamonte in Alcudia. This is a very well run hotel that has recently been updated and is very clean and airy. Rooms are good if basic with the best beds I've had in any 3 star hotel. Not a huge amount of storage and no where to put soap etc in the shower but not a big problem. Shower was very good with lashings of hot water. We were on the back of the hotel meaning quieter and a nice view of the mountains. Rooms made up and cleaned every day. As we went with First Choice (TUI) the room safe was free, you pay a 5euro deposit for the key which is returned when you leave. If you want sun on the balcony all day you need a pool view. Air con worked a treat and was needed even in October. Food was very good with a wide range of meat and fish dishes at lunch and dinner with chefs cooking to order as well as the normal buffet. Salads were great with pasta and pizza available. Beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks self service at main meals. Breakfast was very typical, full english plus cold meats, cheese and bread. Local bread is very tasty. The hotel has an island on the lake outside the hotel with its own pool and a snack bar providing burgers, salad, chips etc from 10 til 5:30. Coffee, beer and sangria along with coffee also available. At the main pool drinks are from the poolside bar. At 6 the inside bar opens, 4 drinks per person and no real problem with queues. Local drinks are included in all inclusive, premium drinks can be purchased. Entertainment is in a covered annex in the evening, standard fare of quizes, mini disco etc. The lounge area is much bigger than most similar hotels I've been to with comfortable chairs and next to the bar. Staff were great always smiling and greeting you. There are a lot of lakes and waterways in Alcudia so mosquitoes can be a problem. Make sure the room is sprayed and use repellent and shouldn't be a problem. Alcudia itself is a nice resort with plenty of bars and restaurants along with a superb beach and marina with plenty of very expensive yachts to look at. All in all a great holiday at a very nice hotel which we fully intend to revisit.
Had a great holiday in this hotel. It has been done up throughout, very fresh and airy feel. Food was good. Staff were all lovely. Entertainment was the usual bingo, quiz etc. Rooms were given a quick freshen up each day. Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the mountains. Lovely and quiet and beautiful at night on the balcony. Really liked the island pool area. Although the lake occasionally had a horrible stale smell. A bit whiffy. All in all though all positive. 😊.
Stayed here last year and to be fair, it was good value for money but to summarise in a nutshell, food was much the same most days (although good quality) entertainment was average at best with very little for children, the pool was always packed out, the beach is a good 45-minute walk. plus sides are: air con was spot on, staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were spotlessly clean and cleaned each day, there was always plenty to eat, the snack bar was great and the weather was fantastic (not apt but worth a mention). All in all a decent stay here.
Traveled all inclusive with TUI 30 sept - 7 oct. On earlier all inclusive trips we have always chosen five star resorts but we're saving for an apartment now. BelleVue Lagomonte was so much better than we expected! Rooms: We expected a cramped room but were suprised to find room for a sofa and desk. Beds were really comfortable though my husband prefers a much softer mattress for his rheumatism. But I think this is the kind of mattress most would find comfortable. One thing, the tv was in front of the sofa? Maybe because it's a sofabed and usually children sleep there? Not a big deal though, we brought a laptop (see my comment about Wifi below). First time I showered I flooded the room! I noticed it right away but just made sure I had nothing on the floor and had my shower. There was a lot of water on the floor. I told the front desk and they immediately sent someone to mop up and a technician to fix the shower. It didn't flood anymore. Cleanliness: Very clean hotel all over! The cleaning staff always found a time when we were out to make up our room. Food: I'm a picky eater but always found something I liked! Breakfast lovely but scrambled eggs probably from powder unfortunately. A chef who fries eggs for you more than makes up for it though! At home we usually eat a very light lunch so we didn't go to the dining room for lunch but took advantage of the snackbar (see below). Dinner lovely as well, roast every night. Wonderful selection of desserts! Lots of different cakes, different every night! Grounds: Biggest pools by the hotel and a smaller pool on an island across the road. The island is only for guests of the hotel. We exclusively used the island. Familys prefered the pools by the hotel so the island was calmer. It had trees and was shadowy wich I like. The snackbar on the island has good and bad points. French fries and meats and sallad was available and made in a kitchen on the island. On friday they grilled meats and jacket potatoes on an outside grill! Very nice with garlic sauce! The snackbar by the hotel only has sandwiches. Unfortunately the only alcohol on the island was beer and sangria, we didn't like either. Not a huge problem, you can just go over the bridge to the snackbar by the hotel were they have a full bar. In a review on trip adviser I've read a complaint that the lake smells because human feeces floats in it. This is ridiculous, the lake has a wake park in it. The council would never allow people to wakeboard in the lake if there was raw sewage in it! The lake does smell but only At Night! Bring some kind of spray if you want to sit on the balcony or have the door open at night. I used my sun spray wich worked well. I suspect the lake smells because of bacteria or algae that release something like methane when the sun goes down. Drinks: Was suprised to see several drinks made fresh, I expected drinks from a machine. Many drinks with grenadine but who doesn't like grenadine? Drinks are strong! (But good, Pink Lady, Liams Cocktail!) But just ask for less alcohol if you want. No name brands of course but nothing horrendous. There are name brands to have if you pay for them. No long lines except at last call at night. Wifi: Free wifi on the grounds but not in the rooms, not even if you pay for it. However, I'd read that wifi works in room 427 so I requested it. They couldn't promise anything but when I arrived we had room 428. And the wifi worked excellent in the room! Wifi over all problem free. I really recommend this hotel, I think it is closer to four stars than three!
