We arrived mid afternoon and the check in was swift which is always a good start and nicely surprised that the safe only cost 5 euro which is refunded on check out, I also heard that a fridge can be rented for 45 euro per week but cannot confirm this as it wasn't offered to us. The first thing we noticed that needs improving are the lifts which are tiny and can only hold 4 people stood back to front and shoulder to shoulder in a square formation or 1 person and a pushchair or 4 large suitcases meaning the first trip to our room was done in 3 trips, thankfully we was only on the 1st floor so opted to use the stairs from then on and judging by the traffic on the stairs so did most other people even from higher floors as the queues for the lifts was ridiculous, even when we went out with the pushchair we just carried it between two of us as it was easier than trying to get the lift but would have been more frustrating had we stayed on a higher floor, the doors to the lifts also close very quickly without warning and was witness an old woman in a wheelchair get her leg cut because of it! The hotel is generally clean and in a good location with many bars and shops just a 10 min walk away, the cleaners do a great job keeping this place clean with the rooms cleaned daily and pool jet washed twice per day. We stayed here as a family of 4 in a superior twin room overlooking the pool on the 1st floor although I have yet to find out what was superior about it as it appears to be the same as any other twin room with twin beds and a large sofa bed? Although the view over the pool and out to the lake was nice on a evening. The AC in the rooms is useless and seriously needs addressing, it has a min temp setting of 23 degrees and does blow a slight cool breeze from the vent when you hold a hand up to it but I would bet our room never got below 28 all week! myself and the kids had to sleep with damp towels to try keep us cool through the night but we haven't had a peaceful sleep all week waking up every morning absolutely dripping, it was more annoying when opening the balcony door on a morning to find it is colder outside than in your room ! But we could not risk sleeping with the door open due to the amount of mosquitos around and a 2 year old child. Be aware that the rooms on the front are directly above where the evening entertainment takes place which tends to finish around 11 - 11:30 and even with a 2 year old it didn't bother us much but probably would be bothersome for most people who want to sleep. There is also no shower over a bath in the bathroom as stated by Thomson it is actually a walk in shower which wasn't a problem as such but worth pointing out for anyone who is a bath lover. The hotel has two pools which are monitored by a lifeguard, one baby pool of a good size and a regular pool but don't expect to be able to have a gentle relaxing swim in there as it was like a kids pool party everyday full of kids on inflatables, even though there are signs around the pool forbidding them it is neither followed or policed. There are plenty of sun beds around the pools but a very limited number of parasols, I would say no more than 20 parasols to a couple of hundred beds which were usually all reserved with towels by 8 o'clock, I walked on the balcony at 7am one morning and saw that most of the beds with parasols were reserved so I have no idea what time these crazy bed reservers rise? but either way with 30 plus degrees daily the hotel needs to invest in buying more and quickly. The food was quite enjoyable in the dining hall and had a good selection to suit all tastes, they also had theme nights with we enjoyed and also gave our 12 year old an opportunity to try foods she wouldn't normally order. The snack bar by the pool offers soft and alcoholic drinks through the day from 10 - 6 which are served in small plastic cups which was a bit frustrating when thirsty but understandable that they don't want glass near the pools but with a limit of 4 drinks per person at a time you just have to order more than you need, it also serves snacks in the form of sandwiches, fruit and small tubs of ice cream that is part of the all inclusive, branded lollies and ice creams you have to buy, it also serves free red and blue slushies which the kids both loved. The evening entertainment was ok starting with a 1 hours kids disco every night followed by an act or something similar for adults then music played up to around 11. The animation team also do activities daily around the pool for both adults and kids. We enjoyed our time here and can live with some of the needed improvements but due to the pathetic air con I am glad it was only 7 days, god knows how many litres of sweat I lost in that room, I would stay here again but only after being convinced that the air con is ice cold.
Just came back from 2 weeks of staying in BelleVue Hotel. The area is beautiful but that is about it. 1. Dirty pool area with cigarette buds and plastic caps floating around. With very limited amount of sunbeds , you have to wake up at 7 am in order to get one. 2. Staff at the communal restaurant have no understanding of what hygiene, we sow waiter droping cutlery on the floor and then putting it back on the table for people to use. Waiters clean dirty dishes away and than set tables without cleaning their hands. 3. Maintenance is the worst ive seen. Our toilet broke, they where able to fix it FROM 2ND attempt, but left toilet in a mess (dirty). We asked cleaners to clean the place up but they just refused saying that today is to our cleaning day. We had to mop the it our selfs. Men from next door apartment was stuck in his room all evening as his locks where not working. 4. Accommodation: We booked 1 bedroom apartment, however bedroom has no door, so he hole point of having a bedroom, putting kids to sleep and continuing with the evening is not an option. 5. Kids entertainment team is rude to kinds!!! Kids club offers no meaningful activities, its more like nursery, kids are left to play with each other. 6. But worst of all is luck of Air conditioning, in the place where is average temp is 35c. And the most annoying thing is that staff in main reception DO HAVE IT. You will find that it is impossible to sleep at night, you have to wake up every few hours to drink and take cold showers. We have been to different hot countries around the world including other parts of Spain, Italy, South of France, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Israel.... and this is the first time we came across Hotel that does not offer AC at all. After 2 weeks in this hell our family need another week of est just to recover from luck of sleep. P.S. Hotel has aprox 8 building, our building, we worked out, was housing approx 800- 1000 guests, yet its not reflected in pool size so at peck time there is literally no space.
Just got back from a 2 week holiday from Bellevue , I must say the hotel is spotless ,cleaners everywhere in the morning doing the full hotel, even at night time the pool was cleaned and floors jet washed , the restaurant staff work very hard, always enough food to choose from, bar staff paco and Ruben were very friendly made you feel welcome always had a smile for you and would talk to you, and verginia in the pool side hut such a lovely pleasant lady, would put my 3 year olds yogurts in her fridge for him until he wanted one, if it was based on the bar staff alone I would give 10 stars if possible, however I know the animation team try very hard but when sat at the back tables you can not hear a thing what they are saying, Try avoid been sat near football pitch as my dad had his glasses knocked from his face, and we had a few beer glasses knocked from our hands , kids have to play it's there holiday too, but pitch needs moving if you ask me, the island is a nice bonus we never went in the pool but had a snack over there which was sausages , chips , hot dogs ,beef burger , and some days chicken nuggets, self service beer pump, and pop and fruit juice , would definitely recommend this hotel
Just back after a weeks holiday with hubby and 17 year old daughter. The hotel is located at the edge of a lake, the hotel itself is very clean the cleaners never stopped all day, check in was quick. Only £5 euro deposit for the safe which is a first, we usually need to pay more. No fridge but you can hire one for €45 for a week. rooms were clean everyday and clean towels if needed, the rooms were recently upgraded, we were on the top floor rear facing so a lot cooler in the afternoon and evening, there are two lifts which is a tight squeeze when taking the bags, although we used the stairs, the same lift did break down twice when we were there. Although there is air con in the room it could have been better as the weather turned hotter later into the week. Had no issue with getting beds by the pool as I'm an early riser, although towel were on beds well before 7.30am. There's a nice quiet area on the island and a snack bar serving plenty food all day. Food was ok, we always found something, although all inclusive we do tend to eat out a couple of nights, would have liked a couple of theme nights as it did seem to be a bit repetitive. Drinks were ok and available all day. slushes for the kids and sandwiches between meal times. My hubby is a soup and dessert fan, sadly nothing took his fancy. Entertainment - can't really comment too much, the group did their best during the day, we didn't stay around in the evening as we ate late and always go out for a walk and drinks elsewhere. Although it was a nice hotel and happy to recommend, we do like to try other hotels and locations
We are currently staying at the hotel and We Will not be coming back. Minus: Ac not working at all, we have 27 degrees in our room right now. After every shower you need to use at least 2-3 towels to get all the water off the floor so you dont slip and break your neck. Especially if you have a 1-year old as We do. No rules are being followed in the pools with kids toys and reservation of sunbeds. There is so many more things that i Will comment on later when we get back home but i can say two positive things: The food is pretty good. The blond girl Mari in the restaurant. She was lovely with our 1 year old daughter and she was so kind. But it looked like she was yelled at by her collegues for being sweet to our daughter.
We've been here for 6 nights so far and due to depart tomorrow evening. The hotel itself is nice and overall is clean however a few points which has let it down. Upon check in at midnight which was a quick check in I will add and only a 40 min transfer with being first drop off, we found our room to be dirty. In particular the bathroom with hair all over the floor. Inc shower. I wonder if this room was used as the room for late check outs. Even my 10 year old son found it unpleasant. With it being so late and being tired , especially with a 3 year old in tow , I just got a towel and swept it all up myself. Did the job. The rooms got made every day , apart from one day when apparently we had a 'do not disturb' sign on the door. We didn't have this. So unless it was a prank. Still, not happy and reception said nothing they could do as maids had left for the day. I was given fresh towels and they took my dirty ones away. I made it clear I expected my room to be cleaned and swept the next day and every day for the duration. It has been. Beds get made, not changed. The bathroom gets very very wet. There is no bath just a shower. A double shower but only half a door. Water gets everywhere, which results in accidents. Due to hair on first day I've got into habit of us all wearing flip flops in the bathroom. Good job as these definitely help me break my fall. There is no bath mat or bath grips in the in the tray. Please do take care. Especially children. The swimming area does get very crowded however we never had any problem obtaining a sun bed or 3 and a parasol. Plenty of room for everyone. The smaller pool is shallow throughout and is perfect for little ones. The pool area gets cleaned twice a day. Outside toilets are relatively clean but please put soap dispensers in there as there aren't any. There is an outside drinks hut which also serves ice creams and sandwiches. The lady could do with a smile but service is fine. Queues can get long but goes down quickly. They serve slush puppies here which is a hit with the kids. There is a pool and snack hut on the island but can't comment as haven't used it. Food - fine. Something for everyone. As previously said , we go home tomorrow and I've already had enough of it. So out for dinner tonight. Certainly couldn't do two weeks. The waitresses work hard and it's always clean and tidy. I feel comfortable here to eat which is a big thing for us. Breakfast consists of cooked and continental. Including pancakes and omelettes. Never had to queue. The toaster is same as all holiday ones. Slow ! Lunch and dinner are very similar. Lots to choose from. Air con. Exists but isn't very good. Weather has been mid 20s this week, increasing towards the end to high 20s. The past two nights it's been warm and could have done with a better air con facility. The vent is by the door which is away from the sleeping area so no use. Fortunately our room has been ground floor and facing the mountains so no sun all day. If you're facing the pool then I can only imagine your rooms will be a lot more hotter than ours. Beach isn't a 10 min walk as advertised. More of a 20, 30 for us with children. There is a free mini bus to take you but we didn't take advantage of this. Strip of bars and shops are 10 mins. Really recommend the ting ting train for a little trip around Alcudia. Children enjoyed it and was €14 for 4 for 30 mins. Entertainment team are fun and interactive. Work long hours and days. So thank you to you ! Night times get busy and very loud. Rooms have thin walls and can hear everything. People tend to slam doors late at night. Between 12-1am don't expect any sleep. We would definitely return to Alcudia however probably not to this hotel. We've enjoyed our stay non the less.
Been to Alcudia a few times but first time at the Lagomonte must say hotel is lovely and clean we paid for superior rooms we were on the bottom floor rooms 8 and 9 they were lovely and seem to have bit bigger balconies it wasn't very private but we loved the fact we could watch the entertainment show from their and near to pool and restaurant the food was really good the only thing they could approve on is more toasters or a better one had to wait a while for it to toast and have to wait on the fried eggs being made the evening meals were good too could always find something to eat and the desserts were lovely got abit boring after 2 weeks so we did eat out a few times we normally ate at the island snack bar at lunch burgers or pasta which was nice the pool area is lovely I loved the sun loungers in pool great for cooling of the entertainment at night was ok some nights better than others the entertainment staff do a fantastic job for the guests I would return to the lagomonte I had a fabulous holiday thank you xx
We stayed here from the 1st - 12th of August. When we arrived, we were extremely disappointed. We were a family of 2 Adults and 2 kids (5 and 2). The room was far too small with basically, one double bed, a single bed and a cot lined up beside each other. We immediately requested for something to be done with our room as in my opinion no way could you stick the room size given we would be sleeping there for 11 nights. We were told this was all they had but after pushing the matter we were given a room on the ground floor which was a little better but still too tight for the 4 of us. I would not recommend the rooms for anymore than 2 people, max 3 so please take note of this when booking. The rooms offer zero facilities which was hard with two kids. No fridge, no kettle etc. The hotel offers two pool areas, both not very exciting and compared to previous holidays, a big let down as not a slide or single little thing in them for kids. In terms of eating, food was actually pretty good with variety but very annoying you could not take food out and choose to eat elsewhere. It was very warm our first week and the room was like a sweatbox making for very uncomfortable dinning. The room AC also needs to be looked at not very strong and lots of guests complained about this while we were there. The kids playground is a joke, not sure why they bother having it as blink and you would miss it. It should also be supervised as kids are rough with equipment and litter the place which is not cleaned regulary. One of the nights, a glass was smashed in the park and only l personally went to reception to let them know about this, nobody would have seen it until the next day. Our room was beside the kids park! No kids club either and it advertises it does. We had no choice but to make the most of our holiday and we did have fun, thankfully, they have the pool across from the hotel as by the hotel pool was too packed with not big enough pools to accomodate the number of people. I would not go back to this hotel and this is must first ever review purely to ensure anyone considering it looks into it. I think for us, we have just been to so much better that this fell way below par for us!
I stayed here from 4th August - 11th August 2017. We checked in a 5am and we were all very tired however, we were checked in very fast which was great and as we waited in the queue to be checked in the security guard worked his way down putting our bands on to speed things up. When we got into our room it was very clean and looked onto the pool (we paid extra for this) the room was a good size for the 3 of us also. The maids came in every day and made the beds and changed towels etc. The staff are all very friendly and the dining room staff and bar staff work extremely hard. The entertainment team are great and do activities all day every day for everyone to join in with. Some days we had to queue for breakfast and lunch however we did not wait long. The dining room was very clean however the tables were very close together and not much room to get past. The food was ok however it was very repetitive and there was not much for children. My 6 year old lived on hotdogs and hamburgers the full week. Some nights we went out for dinner as eating the same thing every night was becoming impossible. The pool area was very clean also but if you wanted a sunbed you would have to be down before 8.30am to get one. The little bar at the pool area was great you could get drinks and ice cream whenever you wanted including slushes for the kids however these were quite watery at times like they weren't fully ready. Also you could get sandwiches here. My son loved these. The pool area on the island was also very clean and had a snack bar where you could eat whenever throughout the day. However after being on the island we all had lots of bite marks from mosquitos. If you like peace and quiet then the island is the perfect place and if you like music eff the main pool is the best place. The hotel is also only a 10 minute walk from the main strip and this was a nice little walk. I would recommend the ting ting train also my son really enjoyed it and it takes you around alcudia for a very cheap price. 4€ per adult 3€ per child and the train journey lasts 30 mins. If the food was not so repetitive I would come back to this hotel in a minute however as I am a very fussy eater the food would have to change for me to come back but overall we all had a great holiday.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks from the 28th July until 11th August we had a great time here. The hotel is set in a lovely and quiet lakeside location, only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The staff in the restaurant were excellent especially the girls clearing the tables, we only had to queue one day for a table as it was raining so everyone decided to have a late breakfast! The food was of a good standard with a wide range of selection, unfortunately the dinning experience was spoilt by the lack of air conditioning in the dining area which made evening meals unbearable. We except that there was a heat wave at the time but most air conditioning systems would over come this problem. We asked our TUI rep about this problem and were told that the air con had broken down and would be fixed within a couple of days this did not happen we later found out through TripAdvisor that the hotel is due to have a new aircon system put in within the next couple of weeks. The All inclusive package of this hotel was very good allowing you get drinks or food pretty much anytime of day. The alcoholic drinks were local brands as opposed to Branded ones although the beer was Amstel. This was great as the kids could get slush drinks from the pool bar when around the poolside. ( If the manager of the hotel reads this I would suggest that the slush machine is moved to the front of the bar so your poor staff don't have to spend their whole shift walking backwards and forwards to this machine as it was by far the busiest machine in use.) The pool area is lovely, spacoius and clean. We never had any problems getting a sunbed and really enjoyed our days by the pool. The toilet block and showers by the pool were always clean and the pool itself was spotless which has a gentle slope to get in and out rather than pool ladders! The room was cleaned daily and towels were changed regularly but again, the air conditioning in the room was very poor. We asked on arrival if we could have a late check out on the day that we left as we didn't get collected from the hotel until 23.30. We were told we had to wait until check out day before they could tell us! This wasn't very helpful. In the end, we were not able to keep the room but we were provided with a room to shower in at the end of the day. Overall this hotel is great value for money, friendly and helpful staff and set in a lovely area - it is just the very poor air conditioning system that lets it down at the moment. We would definitely return next year if future reviews confirm that the air con actually has been dealt with (even through a heat wave it should be able to keep the whole hotel cool ) this was the only fault we had with this hotel.
