Hotel rooms were fine , a little tired . Staff everywhere from reception to cleaners 5 star. Food could be better . The lack of entertainment is the big let down and none anywhere in Porto Colom . I would return if they put on a little entertainment but definitely a peaceful holiday .
The hotel has an amazing view of the sea as it is located on a small clifftop. We were lucky to have a particularly good view from a room on the top floor with an extra large terrace. The meals are good enough with a decent selection of cold and hot foods. The all inclusive bar service runs until 11 and is also good enough. The staff are really friendly and helpful. the only thing to take into account is that the place is not posh... it is exaclty what you pay for... a mid to bottom range all inclusive 3 star hotel....and in that category it is good
on entering the belsana you are greeted by surely the most helpfull and pleasant receptionist anne and avril.that you could ever meet. but it didnt end there the girls in restaurant are so polite and super friendly then barman agustin what a pleasant happy guy he is just allways helpfull and with a smile on his face.yes here the staff couldnt get better and thank you. the setting is to die for. hotel clean maybe a small need to update but nothing at all major. all in all a fantastic place to stay couldnt recommend it highly enough if we wanted to would i come back. yes in a heart beat. and thats with a few problems none of which hotel to blame for i.e mosquito bites one of which wasnt to great thnx barry and genia
We have just returned from this hotel. We arrived quite late, but the staff were great and made sure we were still able to have dinner. The food wasnt fabulous but it was sufficient. Staff at tge pool bar work really hard to keep you happy and always have a smile on there face. When it was time for us to leave we were worried as thought we wouldnt even get a warm drink, but the staff sent us straight to the restaurant before it opened so we could have food and warm drinks. The room wasnt great but we were comfortable enough. The one downfall was the transfer time. Was meant to be 90 minutes but was just over 2 hours.
We stayed in BellVue Belsana in September 2016 for one week. On arrival we were provided a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The hotel was cleaned to a high standard. The hotel is located in a relaxing area and is walking distance to the beach. The hotel may benefit from offering a greater selection of food in their restaurant. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend BellVue Belsana to our friends and family.
We have just returned from the Belsana, and there were things we didnt enjoy, and things we did. Firstly, we cannot thank the amazing staff highly enough, From the welcome at check in, from Anne, who was fantastic, as was her fellow receptionist, Avril, to the bar and restaurant staff. who all work so hard. Cassandra runs the restaurant with military precision. We were disappointed to see that Virginia did not appear to secure a permanent role, as she worked so hard to impress everyone, and her confidence was growing. The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing., Not a speck of dust anywhere. The housekeeping and maintenance staff do a great job. The pool area was great, with the most amazing views, and lots of space, and sun loungers. No fancy slides, etc if thats what you want, but it was perfect for a relaxing break; Service at the pool bar was fantastic and the snacks provided were great. We had lunch at the pool most days. Unfortunately, the items which let the hotel down are: Lack of entertainment. We were lucky enough to be there on the 50th anniversary night and it was great to have the singers, but if there had been something a few times a week, it would have been ideal. There was just nothing to do after dinner, and very little in the surrounding area. Food, the food in the main restaurant was not always great, and often only lukewarm. We did have a few nice dishes, especially from the grill, but the pasta dishes lacked flavour. Desserts were very poor. Breakfast was always good, though. Decor. The hotel really needs to be updated, as its really tired in respect of furnishings. The reception area was very nice though, Some nice soft seating areas would be nice to relax in rather than the chairs in the lounge, which were very uncomfortable. We did have a lovely relaxing holiday, which was what we were really looking for, but we know that we couldnt recommend it to some of our friends due to the subjects covered above. The comments can in no way be contributed to any failings on staffs performance, but an injection of capital from the hotel group could make this a super property.
Nice hotel but nothing going on in the evenings Pool closed at 6 everyday and once dinner was over well you made your own entertainment which was a shame as there were variety of ages on holiday and there was an entertainment area in the bar which could if been used effectively Nothing going on in the surrounding area so basically if you wanted a quiet lazy holiday belsana is for you Despite the quietness there was local bus trips to other locations handy at the end of the street and worthwhile visiting ( cala dor ,Palma ,caeves of drach )
Hotel - We had a top floor sea view room! Rooms are ok, nothing special but clean, AC working well. Sea view - breathtaking. Small but very nice hotel. Very friendly stuff. Pool - not the biggest pool, but the hotel is small so the pool never gets too crowded. Space for kids is separated. Pool hours 10am to - 6:30pm Food - DELICIOUS. Many types of rice, sea food, fruits, cakes. Everyone will find something. Bar - Great bar service. Everyone will find something nice to drink. Huge disadvantage - they close terrace at 10:30 and people needs to get inside the hotel - it is very hot inside in the bar-area. Bar closes at 11 PM which is very annoying too. The City - very quiet place, good place to rest. You won't find many places to party here. Summary - Great 3* hotel in Mallorca.
Third time here now , cannot fault this hotel . Perfect but peaceful location if you are looking for a quiet , relaxing break . Staff always friendly and helpful , even had chilled bottle of wine brought to our room as a 'welcome back' gift !! Beautiful scenery, overlooking the lighthouse and harbour a short walk away . Will definitely be back !!
Booked this hotel for a last minute August 1 week break. We chose the area as wanted somewhere quieter and less 'Brits abroad' touristy and its exactly what we got. The hotel is basic and a bit dated in places but the rooms and balcony are a good size and were perfect for a cheap break. The hotel staff are all amazing and were so helpful and hardworking from the bar staff and restaurant workers right through to the pool cleaners and receptionists. I was a bit dubious because previous reviews mention the food being cold and previous all inclusive experiences in Europe leave little to be desired but I was pleasantly surprised. Being a fussy eater and a dreaded veggie I managed to find plenty to eat at every meal and the food was hot and cooked well. The pool and surrounding area closes at 6 and there is nothing on in the hotel during the evenings although the bar is open until 11 with a patio type area to sit out on overlooking the sea but there were not enough seats or space outside. If you want a holiday where you stay in the hotel all day everyday this is not really the place for you but if you want a nice base for daytrips out and beach visits its perfect. The beach is a 15 minute walk away through the town area, and there are other quieter beaches a little further away.
