Just got back from a week away at this hotel and had a fantastic time. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. The staff are all brilliant and nothing is ever to much trouble. Maru is great and made our stay really special. We will definitely go back

Location was very good 15-20 minutes walk to the port. Shops bars and eating places 5 mins from hotel. Open plan bathrooms so no hiding place after a shower. Had good views over the beach and swimming pool pity the chairs on the balcony were the most uncomfortable we have ever sat on. A fair choice of food but quite often luke warm. Great staff very friendly. Entertainment area too small a lot of room taken up by leather loungers/beds (weird) So some good some bad will return to this area again but not here.

Went with my girlfriend, beautiful room, great facility’s, possibly the best hotel we’ve ever been to. Shout out to the barman in building 2 who kept bringing us drinks. The pool for building 2 was great, well worth a look.

Is the best hotel we have been in years. amazing staff and food, everything was as we expected!! The room was very clean and the location great. Definately fabulous hotel. We wil come back again.. we recommend to every one.

What a wonderful hotel. OZZ and Cecilia were amazing entertainment hosts and the staff were so friendly. The room was cleaned every day to an excellent standard. The eveninf food could get a bit samey but it was always cooked to perfection and there was always a wide variety of salads available. The breakfast was amazing especially the bacon in building 2 😍 it's a shame that wasn't available in building 1 as they were really missing out! Thank you for making my husband and I so welcome and for an amazing holiday x

The hotel is in a beautiful location either side of a cove at Calor Egos (The beach area is public and not owned by the hotel, however this was not a problem, it was a hot week when we were there but it never got overcrowded The hotel is on either side of the cove one side is mainly for H.B. guests and the other side mainly A.I guests however you can use the facilities at either i.e. we had the odd breakfast at the Western side which catches the early morning sun. Also the al a carte restaurant was there and we did an evening quiz there. If You are booking i would recommend you book superior rooms that overlook the cove friends of ours were in standard rooms that overlooked roads and other buildings The hotel isn’t brand new but recently refurbished and this is where my negative criticism begins the decor and furnishings seem to have been chosen for their aesthetic appearance rather than practicality . I understand it is known locally as Hotel IKEA. Our room was a superior double and our first impression was wow. The combined bathroom/bedroom will come as a shock to some but we didn’t mind however the work top area where you store your toiletries etc was impractical with no back wall so things were constantly getting knocked off onto the bedroom floor. The bath towels were hung on a loose bamboo ladder that banged against the party wall when you used it or it was likely to fall on you when you tried to enter or leave the WC cubicle. There was only one large drawer in the room the rest was a series of shelves I may be wrong but would suspect most couples would prefer a small drawer each for their smalls. Likewise the bedside tables were useless and in practical you need at least one drawer each for your chargers, spectacles etc. The wardrobe space was adequate and there are bath robes and slippers provided. Te bed was not a double but two separate beds pushed together but i have to say probably the most comfortable hotel beds i have ever slept in. The balcony gave spectacular views of the cove and distant mountains and the astro turf flooring was a novelty. The public areas again on first glance appeared good however it soon became clear that chairs in particular comfy ones were in short supply in the evenings. The main indoor entertainment area is furnished mostly with some large day bed type seating ideal if you were holding a Roman Toga Party but totally unsuitable to watch the entertainment or drink with friends . Also most of the drinks tables in this area are very flimsy and unstable and I doubt if they will outlast the season The restaurant seating was ok my only criticism was that many of the tables are supported on what appear to be space hoppers so you need to sit spreadeagled to get room for your feet. There were also issues with the limited outside furniture here you had a choice between some very large heavy steel chairs with cushion these were popular and in high demand but took up too much space. The alternative were some very tall stool seats round a tall space hopper table fine if your young but again not suitable for the target adult clientele 50+. The best external seating and tables are by the main pool bar which wasn’t open at night. We had no problems obtaining sun beds the only ones that seemed to get booked early were the four poster ones, only criticism would be for this class of hotel you would expect sun bed cushions. Food we thought the quality of food was good, the a la carte menu was limited and the portions small but we enjoyed the experience probably more with being in a group. Staff all the staff were polite and cheerful in particular the restaurant and bar staff and a special mention for Oz and his animation events

This was the perfect break for us. We are having our first baby in Feb so needed our last really relaxed and quiet adult only holiday!! This place is not for people who want loads to do or want to party! The mixture of people is mainly couples 50+, the entertainment is aimed at this audience so don’t go expecting anything else. The bar area is a little strange as it is set up with very relaxed sofas and lay out beds that people lay on to watch the entertainment and have a drink at night, in my opinion this was quite odd and antisocial! The hotel itself was amazing, we got upgraded to a superior sea view room (not sure how!) and it was really luxurious. The view was stunning and the decor was very modern and clean. The pools were quite small but in October there were plenty of sun beds (although it was still busy) and the weather was fabulous, no less than 25 degrees any day. The staff we all exemplary, great customer service and genuinely nothing was too much trouble. The cleaners particularly were very accommodating and friendly- singing as she worked! On arrival we received a glass of free champagne and every evening while we were st dinner someone came and delivered sweets onto our pillows which we thought was a lovely touch. The food was the only think I would say could be improved, it wasn’t bad by any means but could have had better choices. Most meals I ended up having a typical ‘world buffet’ rather than a meal as there weren’t enough things to make a meal! Eg nowhere near enough veg, only option was chips, potatoes of some kind or stir fried/deep fried veg most nights! They did have a lot of ‘English friendly dishes’ though, so pizza, pasta, chips, salad and chicken nuggets were available at every meal. Huge pudding selection though that I was very fond of! The a la carte restaurant was delicious and we felt very special as we were only one of 5 couples in there on the Wednesday! The location is fantastic, right on a beautiful cove and very close to the little town that runs a weekly craft market. You can also get the land train or bus, or walk 30 mins to port Petro - which was a beautiful fishing town with some spectacular boats! The other walkable town is Cala d’Or, I wasn’t bothered about this- lots of shops including high street brands. Overall we had a great time!!

The Resort is an amazing peaceful place for couples. We went for our honeymoon trip and absolutely loved it! The service is 5 star, always helpful and kind. And the amenities are stunning. Highly recommended!

Had 10 days at this hotel and I would not return here. Food is edible and basically the same every day. We were all inclusive but still u have to pay for bottled water and things like milkshakes. The entertainment was a bit boring and only lasted from 9pm-11pm. It was a clean hotel. Although the cleaners did miss our room one day and had to ring reception to get it cleaned. We did enjoy our walk to Cala dor and around the marina. Everyone is different but personally it wasn’t for us.

Very nice hotel!! Very Good food! Very Nice rooms! Very Nice beach! And very very lovely staff! Always a smile on their faces :) Best place ever! I'm definitely going back! :) I like that they hade lots of activities for the guests.
