My husband and I stayed here for a week of cycling with friends. We were initially given a room right next to the elevators which was very noisy (ironic because I use the stairs almost exclusively). We asked to change rooms the next day and were told it would be an extra 18.50 Euros/night, which I was happy to pay. When we checked out, they charged us 18.50 Euros/PERSON/night. They said I signed a paper, but I suspect that they hand wrote the price after I had signed. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told that was not possible. The check-in took a VERY long time, so be sure to plan for that. Also, the front desk cancelled a couples massage that my husband and I had reserved without informing us. It was our last evening, so it was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, our new room was quiet and comfortable, the food was very good, and they delivered cake and wine to our room for my husband's birthday.
Nice, comfortable and central hotel. They where rebuilding some parts and the restaurant was closed. Breakfast was basic. Only minutes walk to the seafront, harbour and the ocean. Tips: Hard Rock Café is slooooow to serve you - go to the outdoor restaurant to the right. :-)
This is a great, centrally located hotel within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the Cathedral, bars, and the marina. Very easy to catch a cab directly outside. The property is currently undergoing a major renovation to improve the lobby, courtyard and restaurant areas, so they really only offer breakfast and limited room service (unless you really like to eat in a hotel, this shouldn't be a big issue). The service is very good, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the balcony rooms allow you to open the doors for some fresh air. This is a very nice hotel - we will be back.
This was our first visit here and we were not sure of the location but we were pleasantly surprised! It is near the Santa Catalina area that has great restaurants, shops, marketplace. Also the marina and a easy, beautiful walk to Catherale and old town. Our room was just right for our visit and the entire front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful and happy. We will come back to this lovely hotel.
The property is located walking distance from restaurants and Marina. Rooms are a bit noisy, windows are non soundproof that can be improved. Breakfast is good. Practically non existent parking lot unless previously reserved. Rooms are clean but will recommend to fumigate more often, some insects where found. Staff is friendly and welcomes to return.
The central location makes it easy to walk to various places of interests like the Marina, the cathedral, restaurants and shopping centre! The staff are friendly and helpful! Rooms are clean and tidy too.
The hotel is modern and business like. Good location within walking distance of many good restaurants, however I felt the hotel itself could use a little sprucing up. It was not dirty, just not pristine. All our other AC Hotel choices were outstanding on our visit to Spain, this one was just ok. It is noisy... if you like to keep windows open you will hear the traffic on the street. If you don't want to keep your windows open then you will hear the noise from the room next door. Whichever is the lesser of two evils. The reception was very helpful and attentive, offering us great options on tour info and restaurants.
We are due to stay in May next year having enjoyed our time in Palma last time. we found the staff friendly and the local restaurants very good We have been trying to find the hotel email address Would appreciate your help
On a crossroads with traffic lights and a hill. From 4am the buses are what you hear and its like sleeping in the street - picture on the site is a corner room and minet! Expensive yet they cant pay for good Windows. Cheap wood floors so you hear your neighbours walking.
I've been a Marriott Rewards member for over 20 years. Their acquisition of the AC hotels has been good for extending choices in Spain. We booked here for 2 nights and my only request was high floor. We were put on the top floor but in the worst room on that floor. We were in the room that was furthest from the lifts, had no balcony and overlooked the recycling bins to the north-east side of the building meaning virtually sunshine. The hotel is modern, clean and business like. Good position within walking distance of loads of good restaurants, however, the allocation of our room made me feel unwelcome. In the AC Hotel in Malaga we were upgraded to a suite. This room was one of only two on the floor without a balcony and the hotel was virtually empty. We are called "Elite Members" with a "Welcome Back!" on our key card carriers but I felt far from welcome and we certainly were not treated as Elite members.
