Absolutely beautiful cottage, with thoughtful touches like a bath bomb and soap to use, leaving the heating on so the house was warm when i arrived. Magnificent place to stay, so close to wonderful walks and the lovely town. The host was very thoughtful and considerate. Cant wait to stay again!

Old town Maldon

Such a great place to stay. 5 minute walk to the main street with shops and lovely friendly locals. The house is very comfortable, clean with the perfect mix of old world and modern facilities. The garden was an adventure for our dog. He had a fantastic time with the chickens.

The cottage is very nicely set up with lots of nice touches - flowers everywhere, fire laden, tea, coffee etc supplied, instructions for working things. Beautiful cottage, close to the main town

We immediately felt at home here in the heritage cottage and gorgeous gardens that were filled with fruit trees. The beds were comfy with fancy linen and the appliances were top range. The highlight was the shower, which was like a waterfall, and the deep claw foot bath. Divine. It was a couple of minutes walk to the main street where we fell in love with Le Sel's chocolate croissants. Highly recommended, and we would stay here again.

Sweet country cottage

Everything has been thought of at the cottage, from the welcoming lights to the comfy cushions on the porch. Even the resident chooks are thoughtful and generous with their eggs.
