Don't stay here

I had reserved a standard room here, without realizing that standard rooms lack basic facilities such as shower. So I had to upgrade, considering the upgrade cost I could have stayed at a nicer hotel with better facilities. Even the upgraded room was rather basic (it did have AC, shower etc. but that's about it). The bathroom basin leaked even in the upgraded room. One has to pay 2 $ for 4 hours in this hotel, and the speed even after the payment is awful. Note that many public facilities at Malang and even some other places near it but lesser known offer free Wifi with decent speed at public facilities. I got free Wifi at a restaurant near Tosari with decent speed, I also got one in the lesser known Singosari (at Miami fried chicken). So all in all there is no reason why a hotel than charges about 30 $ for its room won't offer free Wifi at a decent speed. The hotel arranged a car for local sight seeing at Malang, the Singosari temples and onward journey to Cemoro Lawu. They charged me 85 $ for this trip, and asked for a deposit of 20 $ the previous night, which seems a bit unusual in Java particularly given that I was staying at the hotel. The cost for the trip seems rather high though I didn't have time to sample prices elsewhere in Malang for the same trip ; I have however hired cars for several days elsewhere in Yogyakarta. All in all, I would give this hotel a miss.

Cheap. Central location...

The cheapest rooms are blind... no problem, hotel is cheap. But it would be better to say this in the ads. Phonic isolation is very bad, so the hotel is very, very noisy... no problem. But it would be better to write this...

HOTEL DENGAN FASILITAS STANDART TAPI HARGA MAHAL

Agak kecewa karena tidak sesuai dengan promosi dan tampilan online-nya, kamarnya terlalu sempit dan tanpa AC hanya diberi fan kecil yang belum bisa memberi kesegaran. Harganya juga terlalu mahal bila dikaitkan dengan fasilitas kamar dan hotelnya. Tapi ada point plusnya juga yaitu keramahan dari staff hotel dan dekat dengan pusat kota malang juga dekat dengan stasiun kereta api.

Hotel yang strategis di tengah pusat kota Malang

Hotel dengan lokasi strategis dan cukup terjangkau. Malam hari bisa jalan kaki keluar untuk cari makan, saya menyewa 2 kamar triple deluxe. Kamar pertama awal2 AC panas namun stlh diubah settingannya sdh cukup nyaman (AC nya ternyata AC jadul), kamar kedua mungkin pas kebetulan dpt kamar paling pojok atas saya merasa banyak debu dan kebetulan saya alergi debu. Jadi tiap kali msk kamar pasti flu. Air minum yang disediakan di jug kelihatan agak kotor. Selain itu saya yg tiap pagi ngopi, krn tdk disediakan air panas dlm kamar maka saya minta dan ternyata air panas kena biaya tambahan 3rb.

Aushaltbar für zwei Nächte!!

Wir verbrachten insgesammt zwei Nächte im Hotel Tosari. Jedoch war diese Unterkunft nur unsere zweite Wahlt, da das andere Hotel ausgebucht war. Das Hotel Tosari ist zentral gelegen und die Entfernung zum Bahnhof beträgt etwa 1km. Ausserdem besitzt es mehrere FAN Zweibett-, sowie Einbettzimmer die für indonesische Verhältnisse sauber sind. Die Betten in den Zimmern sind einigermassen bequem und das Personal, welches man nicht unbedingt als fleissig bezeichnen kann, ist jedoch freundlich. Ein Frühstück sucht man im Tosari vergebens, morgens bekommt man wenigstens Tee und Kaffee serviert, den man sich auch aufs Zimmer bringen lassen kann. Wifi ist in den Zimmer sowie in der Lobby gegen einen Aufpreis erhältich. Am meisten störte uns aber, dass kein Tageslicht in die Zimmer kam und das gewisse Gäste schon am morgens um 6 betend(eher schreiend) durch den Gang liefen.
