I travelled alone for the first time ever, without credit card (it broke 2 days before traveling) the staff was very helpful, luckily for me, I paid when booking the hotel. Average breakfast, great cleaning, great rooftop pool, with great servings. Roomservice is also okay. Maybe too far away from the beach for some people, but i walked the distance every day.

Stayed here for four nights last week, wish it had been longer. This hotel is fabulous in every way. Great location, near to fabulous tapas, shops and bars. Immaculate hotel, with a gorgeous smell throughout. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast, continental and cooked were on offer. Rooms very nice, we were on the front road and this was not a problem. Comfy beds, air condition and free wifi. Well appointed bathroom too. Rooftop pool with a few beds, although very small you do get a very nice view. Never saw anyone at the bar whilst we were there, not sure what time it opened, but it's no problem as there are plenty near by. Always thought of Malaga as the 'airport' but what a great city this is to visit. Can't wait to return, an will definitely stay at this great hotel.

Had the best time! Front desk staff made you feel welcome as soon as you entered. One girl there, forgot her name sadly, really did everything to make us feel special. We had a Club - room and it was so worth the money. Great rooftop pool. Love location, atmosphere and decor. We travel a lot, this will be our regular hotel When in Malaga. No doubt!

...not much has changed ever since... The hotel is nice, the staff helpful. It is just, that I think that the style of the rooms, the atmosphere in the breakfast room and the whole feeling in the hotel does not justify more than 200€ a night. But to be fair: the quality of the breakfast is very nice - it is just that the noise level and the way the personnel is cleaning up more feels like being in a busy all inclusive hotel with hundreds of tourists you have to take care of...very hectic and noisy... Overall I have an average impression.

An attractive hotel that's well presented , immaculate and clean decor and cool away from the heat.On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and immediately changed to English to put us at ease. She explained where everything in the hotel was and even gave a free drink of local Malaga wine to welcome us . She also gave us a map and explained all the sites to see in Malaga. We were also told of the old city walls under the hotel that you can walk downstairs to see Rooms were very smart clean and well presented plenty of room and spacious . Shower was amazing and powerful. The rooftop pool was good with great views over the neighbourhood with a drinks service later in the day. The location is perfect on the edge of the shopping and bar area but if you go the opposite way across the road the shops are even more local and really worth a wander. The stay here was fantastic and the staff are a credit to the hotel very friendly and everyone during our stay always said Hola with a smile. Excellent staff thank you for a lovely stay

Cafe´s nearby, restaurants, and entertainment just walking distance, we had a great time! Summer is really warm and the sofas along the Hotel made it perfect for chilling or reading. The place is really nice !

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We especially loved the roof top pool/ bar, which is something special right in the heart of the city. It is a decent sized pool, big enough to do proper swimming in, and when we were there at the start of July it was usually quiet, especially in the mornings. There are loungers and beanbags scattered around for sunbathing and you can order drinks and food. The only criticism is it is a shame it is only open from 9am to 8pm. We enjoyed an early morning swim before breakfast each day and it would have been better not to have to wait until 9am. Plus it would have been nice to enjoy a drink at sunset so it is a shame it closes at 8pm, especially considering the promotional photo shows the terrace lit up at night which is a bit misleading. These are minor complaints however. The hotel is also very well located, a short walk to all the main sites. Breakfast was good although we are not big breakfast eaters so I think next time we will stock up on bits and pieces from the small supermarket round the corner on Calle Fernan Gonzallez. There is a mini bar fridge in the bedrooms which you can keep things in. We ate lunch at the roof bar one day and it was quite nice and I managed to get something vegan. There are lots of good restaurants near by however so we mostly ate elsewhere. The archeological site underneath the hotel is really interesting. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and quiet too. Oh and there is a really nice fair trade clothing store called non toxic fashion, just round the corner on the same street as the little supermarket, I would definitely recommend a stop there. We would definitely go back if we were in Malaga again.

Stayed for three nights (Fri to Sun incl.) and a two bedroom suite. The room was large, nicely decorated and kept very clean. Cannot fault the service provided by the staff and were made to feel welcome by all. The rooftop pool is great but sadly was frequented by people who hogged the limited number of sunbeds. I realise this is normal at a resort hotel but I didn’t expect it in a city centre hotel where the pool is probably meant for occasional use. Didn’t eat at the hotel part from breakfast which was a good buffet and reasonably priced. Hotel location is superb for getting around town.

Highly recommend this hotel. Immaculate condition and central location. Staff were welcoming, friendly and more than helpful. Excellent facilities and the food quality was to a brilliant standard. Breakfast was exceptional.

First time in Malaga and by happy with this hotel. Had upgrade to Junior Suite on arrival, room 402, which was obviously a bonus. Snacks and drinks available on VIP level 4. Modern, clean hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ate at two restaurants suggested by hotel, which were excellent. Medieval wall on show underneath hotel, which was interesting. A couple of things for the hotel to think about. Evening drinks would be better if available from 7 not 8. More still water should be available in rooms at no charge. Suggest that the bed is repositioned on ground floor and lounge moves up onto mezzanine. Cooler downstairs and nearer to wardrobes and bathroom. Just a suggestion, but overall very good. Great location and close to old town. Enjoyed the stay.
