Easy to find when you know where it is ! Clean and efficient hotel where you can walk to all sights . Surprisingly quiet , even the AC was just a murmur . Ask in advance about parking. Some excellent artisan bakeries nearby for a cheaper and more interesting breakfast ..recommended without doubt.

Nice hotel, in a quiet street right next to the museum Thyssen. Comfortable room and bed, good bathroom. Plus a nice rooftop terrace to sit in the sun ( and a small swimming pool). Kind service and good cleaning.

Stayed in room 407 from the 13th of November till the Friday. The maids clean every day, staff very friendly and fantastic location! Negatives , get those loose slabs sorted on the rooftop and tea and coffee in the rooms. Also that is the best shower I have had in any hotel!

Good room (404). Rooms cleaned very well. Staff all friendly. Good rooftop area, loungers and chairs for the afternoon sun. The tiles on the rooftop area need sorting out though as they are very loose and move about a lot when you walk on them, this needs sorting out! Yes, it is noisy here on a weekend, but that is because you are in the Old Town and this is not the hotels' fault. This is what Malaga is like on the weekends. Remember also, this is a 3 star hotel at a 3 star price. If you want more fancy, then book a 4 star hotel at a 4 star price! Visit the castle while you are there, but not if you have trouble walking! We visited a great flea market that was a good 15 minute bus ride away, great fun! Good museums everywhere. Airport bus easy to use to get to Malaga, but don't get off a what looks like a main bus station (as we did) and had a 20 minutes walk to get to the old town, get off at the Marina area, then a 5 minute walk! All in all we had a fantastic time in Malaga and at the Itica Hotel which is in a great position, we would definitely go back again.

The hotel Itaca was a great hotel as it is situated near the center of Malaga old town. I would describe it as a 3 star hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff where friendly and the room had a mini bar. The breakfast was continental but you could eat as much as you wanted. A great way to start the day or to take you to wine o'clock at least. Malaga was a revelation to me as I had only ever flown there and headed down the coast but it had fantastic restaurants, bars, a lovely port area and a beach ( who knew). Malaga is a great mix of old and new with hard working Spanish people going about their everyday way of life. I loved it.

We stayed here for 4 nights between 30th October- 3rd November. Very friendly staff. We stayed in room 406, very spacious, extremely clean and free WIFI. Beautiful views of Malaga. Breakfast was continental which was fine for us. The roof terrace was great for an afternoon relaxing in the sun. We had a lovely stay and will hopefully be returning soon!

I mailed in advance to ensure that we would have a quiet room. We got it which is positive. The negative thing is that the room was very small without anything except for the (good) bed. No chair, no wardrobe, no blankets, no space. The bathroom was also very small. Top cleaning every day. Friendly staff. The breakfast room at the hotel is very small as well, so instead of having breakfast at the hotel we joined the locals at the bar situated a few steps down the side street opposite the hotel entrance. A good choice.

We have just returned from a 5day break. The hotel is in an excellant location for the bars ,restaurants and shopping . The staff were friendly but we would not stay here again. We complained about the first room so we got moved . The walls were all marked the whole place needs a good lick of paint and it's very noises at night. We didn't use the pool area as the sun beds weren't very clean and the pool had broken tiles on the steps and on the wall. I wouldn't say this was a three star hotel.

Lovely comfortable rooms, helpful staff and small rooftop pool with a sun terrace make this a perfect base for a Malaga city break. The quiet tucked away old town location is perfect with plenty of bar's, restaurants and shopping on your doorstep.

This is our regular hotel in Malaga and we will keep returning. The location is second to none, facilities are great and the staff are really helpful. The roof tops pool and terrace areas added bonus! We will return for sure!
