Very nice small hotel in Limonar. Big bedroom and bathroom. Perfect for short stay or single travellers. Good breakfast with everything you need and a Nespresso coffee machine! Very friendly staff that speaks English. On weekdays I heard traffic in the morning but it did not bothered me at all (it did not wake me up). Very good beds, did not suffered from my back problems.
The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is better than usual. The location is also quite good, close to the beach. But they have the smallest garage in Malaga, full of pillars to wreck your rental on.
Los Naranjos is a small boutique hotel in a picturesque part of Malaga. just a few minutes from the beach. A 5 minutes bus ride takes you to the centre of Malaga, (or a leisurely 20 minutes stroll). There are three restaurants situated across the road from the hotel, plus a supermarket and chemist nearby. Good size period style bedrooms, with comfortable beds and spotless bathroom. Lovely staff. Wholesome breakfast. What more could you ask for?
We stayed for one night and were well received here. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was sumptuous with boiled eggs, fish and ham and cheese. Coffee machine was big and served Nespresso coffee. What a treat! There are two elevators for five floors and to the underground parking, which are considered luxurious. Hotel is nicely decorated. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi functioned well. A bus stop right in front of the hotel took us 4 stops to the city center then 10 min by foot to the Picasso museum and birth place. We enjoyed Malaga greatly and loved our short visit. It is a truly charming city. The down sides of the hotel include tight parking space not suitable for big cars and windows and walls that are not very well noise proof. We heard noise from the neighboring room (they were loud youngsters - not the fault of the hotel) and street noise could penetrate the room at night. However, the balcony and the view to the sea were a good trade off.
I stayed there recently on a weekend break. Hotel is about 5 minutes from centre of Malaga on the bus (seems very regular) for €1.30. The walk is about 20 minutes and is very nice through the park etc... The hotel is old style which I liked, rather than modern. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. There's a couple of mall bars right across the road which are handy.
Hotel Soho Los Naranjos is set in a ideal location for exploring Malaga. It is in easy walking distance of the Cathedral, Picasso museum and especially both the Castle and Alcazaba. Even closer is the beach ! Every single member of staff was very friendly and helpful. My single room ( 553 ) on the 5th floor was very clean and had everything I needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked very well. It was handy having a fridge in the room ( for the mini bar ) which I was able to use for my own beers, milk and cheese. The balcony would be very nice in the afternoon in the summer time. It was a bit too draughty in early March. Tip - Travelling to the hotel. Use the Linea A bus from the airport. This only costs 3 euros. DONT get off at the bus centre ( like I did ) carry on until the bus reaches its final destination in Paseo Del Parque. From there buses number 11, 32,33, 34 and 35 will go passed the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. Malaga is a fantastic city to explore.
Just back from a three night stay at the Los Naranjos which is a hotel we have always wanted to stay at in a part of Malaga we really like. We had a twin room with balcony, no breakfast which I believe is eight euros. It is clear that the hotel is on the up as it was being decorated whilst we were there. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the cleaners. There are a few restaurants on the doorstep with the port and Malaga itself within easy walking distance. We took advantage of the airport bus, line A, at three euros each which stops within walking distance of the hotel. There is a bus stop outside and I would recommend buying a prepaid card which can be purchased beside the tourist information office. Taxis are plentiful and cheap. About five euros for a single journey.
I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, as a solo traveller, in a small room, next the lift with a view of a wall ..... and yet it did not bother me too much as I was out from the morning till evening exploring the town. I did not hear the lift at night. the room was described as soundproofed. It was lovely coming back to the hotel. The staff were pleasant, helpful and unobtrusive. The small room, which had a comfortable double bed but really was only big enough for 1, felt cozy and the dark wood furniture and white crisp linen gave the room a pleasant ambience. The bathroom was nice and everything is spotlessly kept as mentioned by other people. I had breakfast only once , it was not busy, the selection was not huge but I found it perfectly adequate. There are several buses going in both directions from the stops outside the hotel which was very convenient ,although I 15 minute walk to the centre is pleasant along the sea promenade. The immaculately kept large beach is just 5 minutes away with a good fish restaurant for lunchtime grills. The restaurant opposite the hotel ,"Sabor a Fuego", is excellent . The staff are very attentive and friendly, the food fresh and delicious and beautifully served. They kept bringing out freebies- very generous portions of olives and gherkins, pumpkin soup, local spirits after the meal. It was priced at the average level but it was such a good value and just across the road.
vert traditional small hotel with Spanish furniture , lovely decor and spotless in every respect. The service here is impeccable and worthy of another star rating. I travel to Malaga at least three times a year and this was the first time at this hotel because I could not get a booking in the city. I was pleased with the area, the location and the restaurant options nearby. I had to change rooms mid stay because of a problem with my bathroom window, no problems moved the next morning to an upper floor with a sea view. The reception service here is impressive. Lovely breakfast. A lady told me she had trouble sleeping as her room faced the road as did mine. I have to say I did not hear a thing maybe something to do with the very large Whisky across the road ! I will return perhaps with my husband
Tastefully furnished, clean, beautifully decorated rooms that are also bright and spacious. :) The hotel itself is popular and well-run place. I could say it's beachside (the sea is three minutes walking). :) The bus-stop is beside of the hotel, so it's well located. The little garden in front of the hotel is really fascinating. Hospitable atmosphere, fast wifi, very kind and helpful staff! :) Highly recommended! ¡Muchas Gracias!
