Direct hôtel environment is not so fancy but it is only 5 mn walk to historical city entry. Hotel is nicely decorated and built, rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Good breakfast in great breakfast place.

Amazing!

The location is great, about 15mins walk to Jonker St. The road where the hotel is also very quiet so you'll get a good night sleep. The buffet breakfast is not huge but enough selection for Western and Asian palate. Staff is accommodating and very friendly. The bed is super comfortable too! We had an amazing 4 days in this hotel!

Overall the stay was pleasant. Just that wifi was pretty much non-existant once you enter the room and that there was nothing much in the surrounding area. Well, at least most places of interests were within walking distance. The staff here was so friendly! The breakfast, simple but yummilicious!

Had a very pleasant stay with the THS. Even though the carpark was a challenge to locate at first, the receptionist took the trouble to walk with hubby to find the carpark. Its a small hotel with rustic and nostalgic feel. What impresses me most is the breakfast. They serve ala carte breakfast with local delights like nasi lemak and roti canai (which in my opinion - best)
