Not a thing. It was an average hotel. Take your money to.elsewhere
We honeymooned at Kempinski, having never been to the Seychelles, and having never splurged on a 5-star resort experience. Beyond the expected impeccable grounds, facilities, and beachside location, we were floored by how helpful Kempinski's whole cadre of staff were. When we needed a rental car, they had us covered. When we wanted tips on eating and recreating outside the hotel, they had us covered. When we locked our keys in the rental car miles on the other side of the island, they took care of it without judgment. When I asked to borrow nail clippers they were happy to oblige. When I asked for something to jerry-rig a tie to my GoPro, they came up with a solution. They were more than happy to take care of restaurant reservations, exchange decommissioned Seychelles rupees, mail out our postcards, and accommodate our changing plans throughout the trip. Perhaps, most importantly, it was all with such enthusiasm and compassion. We would recommend this resort on the basis of the staff's professionalism, expertise, and friendliness alone.
This is a great hotel. However, the staff is not super overeager to please. It may be culture thing because we experienced same thing with taxi drivers. Once you arrive, you won't leave, too isolated and too expensive to move. The food is OK. Not enough variety and very overpriced. There are lots of flies and mosquitos and it effects the appetite. Otherwise room is very comfortable and housekeeping excellent.
Everybody over out expectations Really concerned about guest Exellent facilities
