Our time at Villa del Riccio could not have been better. Our host, Lucio, was fantastic, in touch with me frequently from the time of the reservation through our 9-day stay, offering help with everything from side trip planning to questions about the house to offering extra blankets for a cool night. The house is terrific, with ample indoor and outdoor space—two shaded eating patios, a balcony, and gazebo. It is very well equipped, with every cooking convenience, starter condiments, even a pizza oven. And the views—oh, my. Ample outdoor seating was one of many thoughtful extras. It’s a perfect place for a week in the country; you do have to drive to stores and restaurants, but that was part of the fun. We truly hated to leave.

Véritable petit coin de paradis, très tranquille, à proximité de plusieurs sites d'intérêt. Vue absolument magnifique sur le lac Trasimène et l'île Polvese. Grande maison avec de belles grandes pièces communes où il fait bon se reposer et prendre un repas en famille. Agréables espaces extérieurs aussi, parfaits pour un apéro ou un repas du soir avec vue sur le lac. La cuisine est grande et fonctionnelle. Les deux salles de bain sont grandes et bien équipées, bien qu'on apprécierait un rideau autour du bain-douche au deuxième étage.Le petit village d'à côté, San Feliciano, a le nécessaire (bars/cafés, restaurants, petite épicerie), et un supermarché complet se trouve à Magione, à 10-15 minutes en auto. Dans un rayon d'environ 1 heure en voiture se trouvent plusieurs villes et villages qui valent la visite (Cortone, Pérouse, Orvieto, Assise, Gubbio, etc.). Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la villa del Riccio et la recommandons à 100%.
