Very nicely located to walk to most sites. Also close to cafes and restaurants. Friendly front desk staff. Loved the rooms which were beautifully decorated and not in your usual hotel style. Affordable and would definitely go back.
The hotel was in a good location. It was clean and very cool. There was no coffee in the room which at first was an irritant until I realized there were places to get coffee very nearby. I would recommend this place to friends...
Nice boutique hotel very well located, friendly staff but rooms need some improvement. Renovation required. No breakfast or restaurant available. Already tried another One Shot hotel in Madrid which is one level above.
Honesty has a premium in life!. As soon as you walk into this place one becomes very suspicious if it is a Hotel or a conversation in one of the best locations in Madrid, you are being greeted by two girls dressed in Jeans and a T-Shirt, very polite, though everything is very small and narrow. We have asked to see the room we could not believe this 3 sq. meter room , with much regret we have walked out of the Hotel, and lost 1 night deposit , and booked ourselves into a Hotel only 30 Meters away , if you are over the age of 50 and suffers or being “Claustrophobic” you would not be happy at this Hotel.
This hotel is handy to all the sights of Madrid. The room was clean and relatively modern but fairly small. The bathroom lacked privacy as the toilet/shower door was not designed to fully close. The sink was in the room rather than being part of the bathroom which would have given the bathroom more space. The TV doubled as a very poor mirror and the mirror surrounds of the TV also made watching TV a bit weird. They provided coffee pods in the room for the coffee machine in the hall but no cups or milk or sugar. Air con was very welcome in the 40 degree temperatures and worked well
We stayed at the hotel between the 22-25 of June (3 nights), the basic room was small and dark but we asked to upgrade to a room with a balcony, the staff was quick to find a solution for us and helped us move our suitcases. The balcony room and the terras room were much more specious, the location is the best, close to everything, surrounded by great restaurants and bars, we enjoyed it very much! We will definitely recommend and come back 💗💗
The hotel has a very convenient location to the center of Madrid, the metro station and the many restaurants. However the hotel room we had was very small. The bed is in front of you once you open the door. Other than the hotel bed, you have about 2 feet space on each side, which is enough space for a night stand on each side, and that is our room size. We do have private bathroom though.
Well located and within walking distance of quiet a few galleries, parks and other centrally located things to do. The rooms are a good size, although a little tired, clean and with all that is required. Staff provided other items when requested (iron etc). There is also a great man restaurants and bars very close by. Hopefully we will be back....
I stayed at the One Shot for a long weekend in May and was really impressed by the location. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the beautiful Plaza de Santa Ana and a 15 minute walk to Plaza Mayor (which in honesty is a touch too touristy for my tastes). The hotel is also a short stroll from the Prado as well as the vast and ornate Retiro Park. We found the staff really cordial and helpful and the room itself (Economy) was rather larger than I had expected. The bathroom was large and the shower was great (though some of the tiling was a little worn). Facilities here are basic, there's access to a Nespresso machine on each floor (you are provided with two coffee capsules per day) and there is no breakfast area or communal area in the hotel to speak of. All in all, very clean, super location and lovely rooms. I'd recommend!
The room was very clean and within walking distance to many different plazas, restaurants, bars. Would definetly stay there again. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning would cut out in the middle of the day and not keep the room cold enough when it came to going to sleep. The card system for room electricity isn't very reliable, should you wish to keep the AC on or charge electronics during the day when you're outside the room. The AC also was not strong enough to cool the room quickly when you did return for the night.
