Never saw the host. Found a set of keys from the cleaning lady. Was on my own. Only good thing was the location and the feel of old Madrid.

great location and easy access

This is a great find- quaint older home right next to the opera house, subway station, and taxi queue. Our host was very helpful. The room is super cool with a very comfortable bed. It does need a bit of “sprucing up” as far as missing a couple of knobs to open the balcony doors more easily and some of the wallpaper mural needing repair. Overall, a hreat stay in a great partnof town!
