Location is excellent, very clean, the grocery store across the street and metro station were very convenient. It was great for our family of 8 for 1 week. There is a sulfur like smell in the laundry room/bathroom at times. Cleaning supplies for bathrooms and kitchen are not provided so we had to buy some.

Beautiful and spacious apartment. Responsive hosts. Great neighborhood for sightseeing. Grocery store directly across the street, loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the Prada, major squares, historical landmarks. Would definitely stay here again.

There was no hot water! Host said twice it was fixed , it was not, after two nights we needed to move out. Host only gave a partial refund after promising more and then just ignored my communications and the ones from VRBO. Place was dirty, furniture is tired. I take these reviews seriously and would suggest keep scrolling to another property. Madrid is a great city. Enjoy it but not at this place.

Beautiful property on a high floor. It was great for our large party. 4 bedroom with 3 bathrooms. A large kitchen with an island. Another very large room divided into a dining area and a living room. Beautiful fireplace surrounded by shelves. 3 floor to ceiling windows that could be opened and turned into mini balconies. We will come here again!

We had an AMAZING stay at this lovely Madrid apartment!! The location was fabulous!! Walking distance to many must-see destinations and convenient to Metro/trains. Great cafes, church and grocery store (Dia) right across the way. The rooms spacious. The A/C a blessing in the July heat. The Vanrays Team was incredibly prompt in their communications and terrifically accommodative. We adored our time in Madrid and it was wonderful to have a home base in this great apartment! Cheers!

Terrible custom service

During our short stay of one and a half days we never had hot water for showers. We were approaching midday the 2nd day when we decided to leave and check into a hotel. They sent their maintenance person who couldn’t fix the hot water so that we could take showers. Additionally, they said not to have the air conditioning and electronics plugged in while we leave the apartment to save money on electricity. They said the bills were already too much. The lights kept going out due to electrical issues. They also said not to take “cold” showers at the same time. There was no explanation why. What was the most surprising was how VRBO staff handled my case. My assistant and I spent several hours on the phone over the course of 2 days trying to figure out how to get someone to the apartment to help us and to find out how to get back the fees we paid. I ultimately had to move my family to another hotel where I spent more due to a last minute booking and after 4 really bad VRBO agents we finally got one named Rolly who saved our vacation. Thank you Rolly for your patience and great service. VRBO needs more people like you!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Madrid

We spent Thanksgiving break in this lovely apartment. It is exactly how it appears in the pictures. Nicely decorated and comfortable with lots of space. It is on a street that can get very busy at times, but not too loud. It is very close to many highlights in Madrid. My only complaint is that the kitchen was not equipped with any amenities. A few bottles of water and coffee would have been nice especially after a long day of travel, but there is a supermarket right across the street.

The repair man was great, but couldn’t fix one the showers. 4 wine glasses for 8 people, broken glasses in the cupboard, no orientation when we arrived but giving us keys No assistance from management on anything. The section in their instruction book was blank. We had no idea why the dryer quit working until we discover a vat that had to be be emptied
