Beautiful flat recently reformed just a few meters from the Plaza Mayor of Madrid, located in one of the most emblematic streets of the city.

Located in the Madrid de los Austrias, the old town of the city and the ideal starting point for a visit to one of the most charming neighbourhoods.



The Plaza Mayor is now a major tourist attraction, visited by thousands of tourists every year. In the commercial premises located under the arcades, there is an abundance of hotel and catering businesses, which have terraces in the square. It is also a popular venue for festivals and other cultural events.



Sol metro station is a 2-minute walk away, and several bus and taxi stops nearby.



A completely renovated flat with two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of them en suite), kitchen, living room and dining room.

The main bedroom has a nice balcony, with a double bed of 1,35cm, wardrobe and air conditioning.



The second bedroom has a complete private bathroom inside the room itself with total privacy. You will find a large double bed (1,35cm), a spacious wardrobe and its own air conditioning.



The common areas are provided with a double sofa bed with a 1.35cm mattress (perfect for sleeping two people comfortably), a dining room, television and a complete designer kitchen fully equipped with: oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, electric cooker, kitchenware, cutlery, etc.



It is located in a renovated building. Access is by stairs to the lift from which you can access the flat.

A lot of room for the price. Sol is always loud and everyone is partying but if you’re good with that, this is the place! Very responsive host.

Good location, but in a construction zone

The apartment is in a good location, and was moderately clean. Unfortunately the building has a couple apartments under construction right now, so there is a lot of construction noise. The manager/owner is a company and they did not provide coffee for the coffee maker or enough towels, but was otherwise fine.

This VRBO smelled like sewer the entire trip. We were never contacted regarding this. We saw in the reviews that others complained of the same and no attempts were made to mitigate the issue. Believe what you read.

Do not rent this place. it is gross and dirty. The worst experience ever they charged me 400 euros per night and the place was filthy full off human hair on the beds. And to top it off no hot water. I got super sick because of taking a shower with cold water.

This property is in the heart of Madrid! The location made it easy to walk to all of the sites we wanted to visit. The bedroom with the balcony was noisy so our son slept on the pull out couch. The front door sticks, so after turning the key turn the doorknob to the left and push!! Super clean with a washing machine.

Despite the fact that the elevator was not in the main level but 3/4 up the 2nd floor - had to carry all of our luggage’s up to it and then another 7 stairs to the unit, the unit was as described. Very clean, comfortable bed and bedding, appointed with all the necessary items.
