The room size is average, not too small but not too big. The design is modern, the bathrooms are clean and nice. The bed is so uncomfortable. The first night I couldn't sleep because the elevator was noisy so I had to switch rooms. If you stay here ask for a room away from the elevator. The area around the hotel is fairly quiet which was great!
The lady that checked me in was really dry. My room was really small and there was a lot of street noise. The location was good. Not too far from the airport and there were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in the area.
This visit to Madrid was a simple business trip, and the hotel nearby the office was not available. So, I selected a hotel based on the recommendations on TripAdvisor. After a very efficient registration, I found out that the hotel awarded me a great room. It did not have a standard bathroom; instead, it had a separate shower directly connected to the bedroom. The sink was in the room itself; very beautifully done. The most notable differentiator was the separate living room, nice to relax and watch some television or read a book. Sad I could not enjoy it because I had evening meetings as well.
This is a smallish very modern hotel. The rooms are comfortable but not large. Too small for a long stay but for a few days they are fine. Breakfast is 'continental' but nice. See if you can get the lid to fit a teapot - it defeated me! There's an interesting little 'shop' near reception that is open 24 hours and will cater for most things you might have forgotten (batteries etc) and snacks/drinks. Drinks are not expensive in the bar although often during advertised opening hours there was not bar staff around - talk to reception and they'll sort you a drink. The hotel is really designed for business guests, no weddings or anything like that, apparently no large reception rooms. Its near the university and a park where you can stretch your legs. Its a 10 minute walk to a tube station that will have you in the centre of Madrid in another 20 minutes. Restaurants in the vicinity typically open at 20:30 in the evening - head towards the tube stations to find them.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and new. The price was also very affordable. 2 different metro stops close by and only about a 15 minute ride to the city center. Staff is very friendly and they offered me gluten free bread at breakfast!
Business hotel mainly, B/B only – or at least that is what we saw. Reception -- very polite and helpful. When we asked for more things in the bathroom (shampoos, soaps, etc. were provided for one person, while we were a couple), there was no problem. The extra things appeared after cleaning the next day. This is also true for an extra pillow we requested. The room was in the minimalist style – no small drawers; even personal objects had to be placed on small shelf by bed. There is no safe in the room, either. I much prefer drawers and places to put things and close them up. The bed was very comfortable. What was disturbing was the glass door to the bathroom. The view from the window hasn't much to be desired – a side street and a building opposite. This was disappointing, but what can be expected from a city hotel? There are no coffee/tea facilities in the room, but downstairs in the lobby there are facilities for free. Nearby there is a small self-service display: sandwiches, salads, ice cream, etc. at reasonable prices. You pay at the reception. Breakfast – fairly standard: a choice of a couple of cereals, bread, rolls, toast. But why not salad? Not one tomato or cucumber. I do not understand this lack – it's not there isn't any vegetables in the market. There was fruit, however, especially pineapple and melon as well as a couple of oranges, apples. This means that the sole waitress on duty has to lay the tables, put the food on the large table, clean up, but she doesn't prepare any of the food. The pineapple and melon were brought to the hotel already cut. What you can't buy cut, don't bother. And that's a pity.
We stayed here on a weekend trip to Madrid. The hotel is basic but clean. The rooms are on the small side but you are not in Madrid to stay in your room! The main metro into Madrid is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. You have a large supermarket next to the hotel and a few pubs/restaurants. It's a student area so has got a good vibe
Nice modern hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Metro nearby and 20-30 minutes to city center. Rooms good and friendly staff. Breakfast fine but a bit expensive. Bar and roomservice. Some inexpensive eating places nearby.
This is a budget hotel at a good location. Not for those who are used to large or Medium sized rooms. Very plain vanilla amenities. It's certainly clean and professionally managed with smiling staff. I would recommend this only for budget travellers who want a centrally located hotel.
I was on a business trip and I particularly enjoyed the good sleep quality. The bed was comfortable, the temperature perfect, no noise and no light coming through. I slept like a baby for 10 hours! They breakfast was fine and the staff very kind and helpful. Excellent relation quality v price
