This unique custom-built 4,009 sq. ft. lake house is located at the mouth of Lyons Creek and Lake Gaston with direct main lake access in the upscale subdivision of West Winds. The home offers fabulous views, a large flat yard, a fire pit, a sandy beach area, and good water depth at the boathouse. The home is situated on a large point with over 550 feet of waterfront. The outside boasts a large wrap around porch, with a grill, a 12-person outdoor dining area, and comfortable patio furniture. FROM JUNE TO AUGUST 2026-2027, THIS HOUSE RENTS FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. A WEEK RENTAL REQUIRED DURING THESE MONTHS. The large yard is perfect for croquette (included), cornhole (included) and other yard games. The wrap around sidewalk includes a ground level patio with 8 Adirondack chairs around a built-in firepit facing the lake. The boathouse includes a covered boat slip with a lift, an additional boat tie up area, a mini fridge, a large entertainment area with 6 comfortable lounge chairs, one double kayak and one single kayak (with 4 life jackets). The water is perfect for swimming or fishing. We have included about a dozen water floats (and an electric air pump) for your use. Inside on the main floor, the house’s modern design features an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings with exposed trusses, beautiful pine floors, and handsome wood paneled walls in the kitchen, great room, and office area. The great room features a 65-inch smart TV and built-in Bose speakers for music (with bluetooth technology). The great room is perfect for board games, reading, listening to music, relaxing around the decorative stone fire place, or taking in the beautiful views of the lake. The newly renovated open kitchen, which is the ideal place for cooking, has plenty of countertop space and includes 2 large refrigerators with 2 freezers (and 2 ice makers), a double oven, a stovetop, a dishwasher, a microwave, and coffee makers (both drip and Keurig). For meals, you can dine at the 14-person inside dining table or hang out in the large covered screened in porch… or of course eat outside at the 12-person teak dining table, either of the 2 wrought iron tables (each of which seat 4 people), the comfortable outdoor seating area, or the 8 Adirondack chairs around the firepit overlooking the lake. The main floor also includes an office area with 2 oversized desks which are perfect for guests to plug in (and includes a wireless black-and-white printer available for use by the guests). You will also find a half bathroom, a laundry room (with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers), 2 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms on the main floor. The primary bedroom on the main floor can accommodate 2 adults and features a king bed, fantastic water views on 2 sides, a large walk-in closet, a 32-inch smart TV, a private door for easy entrance and exit onto the wrap-around porch, window blinds, a ceiling fan, and an ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity and a unique walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the main floor can accommodate 2 adults and features a queen bed, 2 large windows, a closet, a 42-inch smart TV, plenty of drawer space, window blinds, a ceiling fan, and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. On the second floor, you will discover 3 large bedrooms with high vaulted ceilings and a newly renovated full bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. The first upstairs bedroom can accommodate 3 adults and features a queen bed and an additional day bed, 2 large windows, a 40-inch smart TV, plenty of dresser and drawer space, window blinds, and a ceiling fan. The second upstairs bedroom can accommodate 4 adults and features 2 queen beds, fantastic water views, a 42-inch smart, a large walk-in closet with a barn door, plenty of drawer space, window blinds, and a ceiling fan. The third upstairs bedroom can accommodate 2 adults and features a king bed, fantastic water views on 2 sides, a 42-inch smart, a large walk-in closet with a barn door, drawer space, window blinds, and a ceiling fan. The basement can accommodate 5 adults and features 2 bunk beds (4 beds) and an additional day bed, a full bathroom, drawer space, a 50-inch smart TV, a sectional couch, a wet bar with a sink and wine cooler, an additional door to outside for easy entrance and exit, and inside stairs up to the main floor. This is a Pet Friendly home! If you would like to bring a pet, please reach out before booking. If your pet is permitted, the pet fee is $50 per night for the first pet and $25 per night for each additional pet. WatersView Restaurant is located about 20 minutes (15 miles) from the house near the main bridge on Lake Gaston. The house is located in the upscale West Winds neighborhood located on the south side of Lake Gaston about 8 miles north of downtown Macon, NC. The easiest way to get around is by boat and by car. Guests are welcome to bring their own boat or rent a boat while visiting. Guests are also allowed to use the double kayak (provided).

This house is a beautiful as pictured and the yard is fantastic. The water at the dock is great for swimming and floating. Definitely the best place we have stayed so far at Lake Gaston ! The hosts were extremely easy to communicate with and very gracious.

Property is gorgeous, well maintained and we enjoyed every minute even with all the rain we had. Our group loves listening to music so it was nice to be able to hear it inside and outside. I can’t say enough about 3 Peaks and the Host. The house is gorgeous, well laid out, very comfortable furniture and beds and the best equipped kitchen I’ve seen in a VRBO. The interactions with the Hosts was easy. We got a prompt response to our questions. We had a small problem (overflowed toilet) which was immediately addressed and a plumber sent out very quickly. We were a group of 15 ladies on a sewing retreat. We will definitely rent 3 Peaks again next year! Forgot to mention, the view is outstanding!

Thanksgiving family retreat

Beautiful property with amazing views of the lake. We stayed Thanksgiving week with 11 family memebers and a dog and everything was great. Fully furnised with everything working. Owners were very responsive to any questions and requests. Would highly recommend and would stay again - especially in the summer were we can take advantage of the dock and water.

Turkey Day on The Lake

We had a great time at 3 Peaks celebrating Thanksgiving. With family coming from Florida, Connecticut and Pennsylvania this house has a great areas for everyone to hang out, whether inside or out. The view from the house is hard to beat while enjoying that morning cup of coffee. Yes we will return.

3 Peaks at the lake is a beautiful, spacious house with its fabulous views of the lake. We spent most of our time catching summer sunshine on the boat house dock and floating in the lake. Return visit to 3 Peaks

This was our second summer trip to 3 Peaks. This house on the lake has a perfect location with excellent access to to the boat marinas and restaurants a short boat drive away. Everything is well provided just add family and fun! The rooms are spacious and the outdoor facilities (dock, fire pit, yard and neighborhood) make things comfortable. The fishing at the dock was great - we caught small bass, large catfish and plenty of bluegill. We even thought we saw a large pike swim by the dock. Our year old dog had a blast experiencing a lake for the first time too.

We are a family of 17. We started with 4 kids, everyone got married and had kids and now we are 17. We get together once a year for vacation. We had an amazing time at 3 peaks Enough room for everyone and lots of water. Communicating with owner was excellent We had trouble with the air and it was fixed the next day. Perfect Spot for Family Reunion

Nestled on a quiet, wooded and flat stretch of lake front, 3 Peaks was home to our week-long family reunion for 18 people. It was great. Inside the lofty and open layout of the house, there was plenty of room for everyone and everything was very well organized. The massive windows overlooking the lake made it feel as if you were outside. Outside, the deck, yard, fire pit and dock were all conveniently located along with a variety of yard games and water floats. Checking in and out were a breeze. The attention and detail in creating this property is also given to your stay. Robby and Matthew are super responsive no matter how big or small your need. Beautiful property, convenient logistics, and exceptional service.

Executive style Lake House

This property is well outfitted for a range of activities with plenty of non standard amenities in a quiet neighborhood - it has a nice dock on an open but quiet cove close to the main lake. The open living area has a great vibe with plenty of space for extended family. The house Wi-Fi was effective and we appreciated the Direct TV service. Those services make it a viable option for telework with the desk area and provided printer off the living room. The beds were comfortable and the upgraded bathrooms were great. We also appreciated the property supplied trash service. Matthew and Robbie were very responsive to the few issues we had and easy to work with. We plan to book again for next summer!

Best of Lake Gaston

3 Peaks has to be one of the best places we have stayed out of all of our visits to Lake Gaston. The location on the lake was perfect and every spot on the property allowed you to take it all in. The interior of the home easily accommodated our large party of mostly adults and college age children as well as 2 young children, 14 in all. We enjoyed being able to dine all together at the table for nightly dinners and relax in the evening in the large family room while still able to enjoy the view through the huge picture windows! We also made sure to enjoy the ample outdoor seating on the wrap around porch and the patio with fire pit. This home honestly had it all! It was great to have such a detailed arrival and departure checklist prior to our first day to look over and prepare. Robby and Matthew were great to work with and the information they provided about the home and the area was so helpful! We will definitely be planning a return stay to 3Peaks!

Great Week at the Lake in a Beautiful House

We go to Lake Gaston every year with a group of 4 couples, and this is by far the best house yet. The house is located on a beautiful point with a big yard and a panoramic view of the lake. We took two boats, and the boathouse and dock were exceptional. The house is just as pictured-beautifully appointed and comfortable-especially for multiple families. The house is situated in a very nice neighborhood and we walked our dogs every day and met many nice, friendly people along the way. We all like to cook and were able to do so without lacking anything we needed-there is even a crockpot and blender there. The hosts are easy to communicate with and responsive. I would highly recommend this beautiful retreat at the lake and would definitely stay there again.

Great house Great amenities. First time we have visited Lake Gaston. All the family loved it and voted it better than the outer banks. Would suggest they add some more sand to the beach area they would get a big bang for small bucks. Would make water entry a bit easier and give the little ones a place to play and dig. Would visit again.
