Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The location of this property is excellent and was the biggest positive. It was within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and attractions.Unfortunately, the property itself was very disappointing and did not match the impression of the listing. The room appeared poorly maintained, with broken mini blinds covered by paper towels held up with paper clips, dirty carpet, only one lamp, and a single electrical outlet. Our biggest concern was privacy and safety. While we were in the room, someone gave a quick knock and immediately unlocked the door and walked in before we had a chance to answer. He identified himself as housekeeping only after entering. We had not been notified anyone would be entering, and there was no interior latch or deadbolt to secure the room while occupied. There was also active construction and maintenance during our stay, including concrete work, loud equipment, and painting around the walkways, none of which was disclosed beforehand. The location was wonderful, but the condition of the property and the lack of privacy made this a disappointing experience.
