This is a small but very nice house and is located in the center of Porto da Cruz.

Porto da Cruz is one of the parishes in the municipality of Machico. Its name came from a cross that was once placed by explorers on the bay that was used as a haven. Upon arriving, you will quickly fall in love with the natural, peaceful and picturesque character that so characterize this village. The daily life in the village of Porto da Cruz is oblivious to the stress or movement of large cities and here time seems to have stopped.
During your stay, you will be able to visit the old sugar cane factory, which has been operating in the same way since 1927. Also not to be missed is the place known as Penha d'Águia, an imposing rock that separates Porto from Cruz from Faial. Getting to the top of this magnificent rock formation can become a real challenge as the access is winding and steep, but the birdsong will help you along the route. When you are finished, you will be sure it was really worth it because the views from the top of Penha D’Águia are absolutely stunning!
This village is also famous for its wines, known as American dry wine. This local product is the theme for a party that takes place in early September (Wine Festival).
