Awful! By far the worst hotel one can find in The Netherlands! Pay attention that all the reviews on Expedia etc are same wording and we know now - they are stagedm faked! Crazily greedy owners! - never saw things like that! We paid decent price, not cheap at all! Got the tiny room on the second floor with an awful dangerous staircase - one to break the neck and every bone when carrying the bags - no elevator! Noisy - from road 10 meters from the hotel and from every step in the room above! Their breakfast ends at 10 am and check out at 10 am. Beds are awful - got back pain in the night ! .Breakfast - cheap and limited, worth 3 euro at most, The owners are greedy and just interested to squeeze you out of few more coins. AVOID THIS PLACE at any cost! We so - too late unfortunately ! - so many hotels in the area which look nice! Don't do our mistake! DO NOT stay at that place - Hotel Heijenrath!
Arrived at 20.30Hrs restaurant closes at 18.30Hrs however our very kind host rustled us up something. Cosy bedrooms nice soft beds. Lovely brekky as per pictures. Cosy bar. Hot shower however a bit dated.
This is a pub that has 8 rooms. The rooms are on the second floor and are nice size. The beds were very comfortable and it has a nice bathroom. They could benefit from larger towels. The shower was great and the Wifi was good, The people that own the place could not be more helpful and were pleasant, There is lots of parking. We did not have an evening meal but the other quests that did really enjoyed it, The breakfast was great and lots of different foods, including a great boiled egg. This is a great place to stay and worth driving to find it,
Stayed here with horse mad teenagers to visit Aachen horse show - the hotel is ideally located near to Belgian, Dutch and German border in a beautiful and quiet village (the highest village in Holland). The welcome was warm and friendly and we were treated very well throughout our stay. We had both rooms on the top floor which were ideal for us. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - stay here you will not be disappointed.
This is a brilliant small mom-and-pop hotel. The owners run it themselves and do a tremendously good job. They are very accommodating and nice. The food served was basic and with only limited to choose from, but what they served was really good, plentiful and delicious. Should I mention two smaller development points, it should be: 1) The beds are WAY too soft 2) We slept there during the Belgian Grand Prix. Due to the distance to the track, we needed to go very early, which meant we missed breakfast. May I suggest to the owners, that they either serve breakfast early this one weekend a year OR offer a breakfast to-go, as we were quite a few from the hotel going to Spa. Beyond this, the hotel is just the ticket after a noisy day track-side. And the gentle and welcoming demure of the owners should brighten everyone's day!
Very nice little hotel. We didn't know the area before arriving and were surprised by the beautiful landscape and nice little villages. We stayed in the family room which was actually two separate rooms with a joint bath room. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Great breakfast served at the tables. We will definitely return the next time we need make a stopover in this area.
If you are looking for a smaller, yet cozy hotel where you are received with a personal touch, this is the hotel for you. Only a half an hour away from Maastricht, this hotel is well maintained and has a fresh, modern look. Of course you will always have a bit of noise in such a small facility, but we did not feel like it was too crowded for a second. We did not try the diner options, which were a 3-course meal or stone grill, but breakfast was every day well served with bread, fruits and plenty of sweet and savory toppings. Unfortunately there was no airconditioning, which was a pity at 38 degrees Celsius, but we had a great room in the corner of the building, so we could open up a few windows and let some cooler breezes in. Every day we sat on the terrace, playing board games while being expertly served for drinks by the family themselves. Truelly nights to remember.
We stayed here for 2 nights and were very satisfied. The owners gives you a very welcome feeling the moment you arrive. The rooms are small but have enough comfort.Price / quality are very good.Food is good and tastfull. If you like the countryside and a personel service, this is a very good adress.Great region to do biking, walking and full of nature
This was a great little hotel. We were greeted by the owners with a free beer. They are a very nice family and really go out of the way to make sure the guest were happy. The rooms are small, but comfortable and very quiet. The hotel is located is some of the most beautiful countryside. Lots of people biking, hiking and walking in the area. This hotel definitely has charm and I would stay here again. Nice European style breakfast in the morning and a nice sitting area for sipping coffee. Lots of outdoor seating is available too.
This is a small (7 rooms) hotel on the countryside about 30-40 minutes from Aachen. The owner is very nice and service minded, and the rooms are decorated with love and care. Very comforable beds :) Nice and clean. If you're early bird, be aware that breakfast serving starts at 8:30.
