"The staff were lovely and the room was clean and had all of the amenities that were expected! But unfortunately we decided to have a meal in the hotel restaurant on our first night - halfway through our starter I noticed two rats running along the alcove above the window.
We decided to finish our meal in the room, which was accommodated - and a free dessert was offered as a means of apology.
This is just a warning to anyone who doesn’t like rats (like myself!) "
