The staff were very kind even allowed us to check in around 13 pm without any additional charge. The kitchen was having very basic utensils and not even a proper kitchen knife or a lid which I haven’t seen experienced before in any apart hotel.

Room was clean. Check in is easy . Facilities is like a university dorm. It is great for travelling around Lyon just a 10 min walk from part Dieu. We used Lyon as a base to go to many towns nearby by TGV and regular trains. Great bakery and supermarket around the corner. Kitchen is minimal but with the great restaurants around we only used it for making coffee. The bathtub is very high, may not be suitable for someone with mobility problem. The cleaning staff was very efficient and friendly.

Overall, I had a good stay. Good and convenient location, felt safe, easy access to all means of transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only issues were the bathroom smell and the elevator noise, which was especially noticeable at night. Still, the hotel offers good value for money.

Séjours and Affaires Lyon Saint Nicolas is located close to Lyon Part-Dieu train station, which is a great advantage. At the same time, the historic center of Lyon is within a walking distance. Also, the are 2 supermarkets near the hotel.

The room was tired and cramped, nothing like the pictures online. The bedside lamps did not work and neither did the terrace door shutter. I reported the faults the next day and they were repaired. The terrace floor was covered in cigarette butts so hadn't been swept in months. There was no communal seating area so you are trapped in your room if you don't want to go out. The kitchen utensils were insufficient. There was no kettle. Staff were courteous.

La habitación estaba limpia pero solo hay limpieza semanal. El problema con la limpieza viene de la gente que saca la basura y deja rastros por todos lados (y puede tardar en limpiarse el espacio compartido como ascensor si pasa en fin de semana). Daba sensación de dejadez y mal olor. Te dejan 2 conjuntos de toallas para 1 semana. Se agradecería algo más de papel de WC. Mucho sitio para almacenar ropa. Pequeña cocina (solo usé la nevera). Te dejan kit para que puedas limpiar lo usado. Wifi correcto. Hay ventilador (aunque el mio era muy ruidoso) La recepción no es nada bonita pero el personal es muy atento - todos ellos. Se llevan la mejor nota del alojamiento. Desayuno muy básico. El domingo te dan una bolsa para que te apañes en la habitación. Alojamiento situado en una gran avenida pero poco movimiento de noche - solo grandes edificios. Cerca de transporte público y a 10’ de la estación central. Hay supermercado a 1 calle y sitios para comer cerca.
