Average price to sleep one night in Lyon. Room without air conditioning, and outside is 35 degrees. WiFi working well. It is worth the price, and located not too far from the airport. Will be back in the future

Tip Make sure you get a room on the back of the hotel. The road is noisy and the rooms at the roadside are not enough isolated to keep the noise outside. We were with 5 persons. Two slept on a double bed two slept on a sleepingbank one on an extra bed.

Hotel is pleasant, staff is nice and helpfull, food was plenty and was okay/good. Had problems with wifi (once connected it works fine, but hard time to reconnect on iphone and ipad) but appart from that good location for a one-day stay!

Nice staff, reception area and restaurant. Rooms clean but basic and very dated - really needs a refurbish. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Poor wifi as it frequently disconnects and requires re-login each time it disconnects.

We recently found ourselves stranded in Lyon Airport when the roads to the mountains were closed and the weather and traffic had caused carnage up the valley. We searched around Lyon airport and at no notice secured 7 rooms. This is excellent value, they could not have been more helpful even allowing us to grab a late pizza from a local take away and eat it in their dining area.

We stayed here as our son lives in Decines-Charpieu and it's a five minute walk to his place. It's a small good hotel for getting into Lyon, very clean rooms. Didn't have breakfast, but the food looked very pleasing. If you do not smoke make sure you stay on the 1st floor because all the other floor's are smoking! You have to have a code to get in at night as there is nobody on reception after 11 p.m, but that is not a problem for us.

I travel to Lyon frequently for work and have been looking for a new hotel the past year that is closer to our company office. Trying to save some money, I decided to stay at the Hotel Eclipse. This was a horrible decision and I won't be going back. To summarize: - small rooms - typical of EU hotels in this price range but not cozy like others I've been to - dirty - saw pee stains on the toilet seat and floor of bathroom upon checking - not very comfortable - I was scared to sleep in the bed seeing how dirty the room was... when I finally did, it was not comfortable at all On the plus-side, the wi-fi was reasonable and the restaurant is ok for a cheap meal. However, the negatives outweighed the positives for me.

- The hotel was conveniently located in the vicinity of the Airport - The rate found on the Internet was very decent (ca. €75 include breakfast) - Internet was also included for the duration of the stay - The restaurant also serving basic food was flexible enough to remain open as I arrived late - Little supermarket located 10 min walk from hotel - A bus line runs pass the hotel - Very friendly and helpful staff - Room had basic equipment ie. Desk, TV, Double windows (soundproofing was quite efficient) - Provides good heating

Seul point positif : l’accueil chaleureux.
