the young man receptionist was very nice. however, he neglected to tell me that they locked the parking lot between 10pm and 630am. when i went down to get my car to catch a flight at 4am, my car was locked up, i was locked out of the hotel and there was only a phone # on the door for emergencies. luckily someone showed up and explained there is a code to open the gate to pkg. the receptionist neglected to tell me. it was in very fine print on a piece of paper he gave me, but alas, too small to notice. the room had disgusting old smelly carpeting. the tiny bathroom shower leaked and the entire surrounding carpet was soaked. it smelled badly. had i not been stuck at the last minute, i never would have stayed at such a place.

Only stay here if you have a car! I stayed at a weekend so didn't get the "free station pickup" - had to get a bus then walk quite a way. It's out in a residential area with NO shops or anything to see. No reception on weekend afternoons - I rang the emergency number and was given a code to get into the building and into my room. Pizza place next door was closed for the summer, I had to get food from a nearby Portuguese food warehouse. Room was clean, tiniest bathroom I've ever seen but adequate. Breakfast was excellent - good selection and very cheap. Lovely shady picnic area outside. There were some families there (with cars) and it's certainly well away from the noise of the city

The room was small but clean as was the rest of the hotel. It is a bit away from shopping and sightseeing. The Pizzeria next door was closed for its summer break so dining out was not convenient. Breakfast available at reasonable cost but could get busy.

nice staff. far from center.

staff was super nice. i was sick and thay made me fill at home. its not the center of lyon - i was on that neighborhood for businesses, but if your trip is to lyon itself then its too far from the center. like an hour with bus and train.

Disgusting Service

We had booked this hotel as a stop over from Spain. However on the way we knew we would be late, so called to arrange a later check in time and was told we couldn't do this, even though on the hotel.com site it stated we could call to let them know we would be later. So on that note we decided to cancel the room, again according to Hotels.com we could cancel before 3pm. We called around 12.30 and the person was very stroppy, and said yes I'll cancel your room, then asked what time if we still wanted a late check in would we want, and when told a rough time they then said they would cancel the room. However I have returned home and found that we have been charged for the room, when it clearly stated we could cancel on the condition we did this in time. SO they wouldn't let us have a later check in time, and told us it was cancelled but hotels.com still charged us. Another great service, from both parts. Not a happy customer!!!!!

HĂŽtel d'un autre temps

Chambre petite, lavabo (avec cendrier incorporĂ©) + toilette + douche en monobloc. La douche trop petite et trĂšs trĂšs peu de pression d'eau. Difficile de prendre une douche quand on fait 100 kg comme moi. Clenche de porte des toilettes cassĂ©e. joints de salle de bain noirs de moisissures, rideau de douche difficile Ă  fermer. matelas dĂ©formĂ© (mauvais sommeil et mal de dos au rĂ©veil) rideau de fenĂȘtre avec des trous d'usures rafistolĂ© avec des morceaux de scotch. Nettoyage de la chambre et de la salle de bain 1 jour sur 2. Petit dĂ©jeuner, mini viennoiseries industrielles ramollies, le pain pas top. TĂ©lĂ©vision, 10 chaines TNT maxi ( les autres : pas de signal), avec un dĂ©calage entre le son et l'image malgrĂ© un bouquet canal + annoncĂ© Ă  l'accueil sur la porte. Accueil : agent du soir pas souriant et pas trĂšs aimable quand il est lĂ . L'agent du matin souriante, serviable et polie. Les 2 point positif que je retiendrais de ce sĂ©jour, c'est la climatisation dans la chambre et le papier toilette de qualitĂ©. Pour le reste, c'est le pire hĂŽtel que j'ai frĂ©quentĂ©. C'est surement pour ça que l'on vous fait payer l'intĂ©gralitĂ© du sĂ©jour dĂšs votre arrivĂ©e.

Por el precio es conforme.

Me aloje en fecha de alta demanda porque era el mejor ubicado y mñas barato. Es un hotel viejo pero limpio. Sin ascensor y tiene 2 plantas. Lo mejor la cama. Lo peor el baño tipo capsula, una ducha pequeña dónde no apatece estar. El personal es muy agradable. Desayuno frances normalito.
