Jolie Ville is a wonderful hotel on an Island with 3 poolarea's, 3 restaurants and a fantastic good service! The Island is ca. 3 km to walk around, and you Can see The Nile from All restaurants and a Lot of The rooms. The food was SO good, and The room comfortable! We really enjoyed our visit, and Will come back.

This was my first time at the Jolie Ville Hotel, but hopefully not the last. It's a real haven of peace and a wonderful place to relax after visiting the amazing temples and tombs of Luxor, Karnak and the West Bank of the Nile. There are 3 amazing swimming pools, a wonderful buffet for breakfast and dinner and the sunset views over the Nile with the classical music is just breathtaking. The staff are all very friendly and the hotel has very high standards of cleanliness everywhere. I would highly recommend the early morning bird safari with the very informative local expert.

I stay in the hotel at least 3 times a year , often with family or friends from the UK. What can I say the hotel is perfect. From the minute you arrive you are looked after by the most helpful, attentive and friendly staff , nothing is a problem whatever you need is found immediately, with a smile.the grounds are beautifully maintained and a pleasure to stroll through. The rooms are immaculate and are equipped with every thing you need for a comfortable stay, even a pillow menu . The food is the best I have tasted in Luxor and would highly recommend the restaurants on site , even the most fussy eater will find something delicious and let's not forget the poolside and rooms service menus , I have to recommend the club sandwich , all reasonably priced and bought to you within minutes. Each stay is a pleasure and has been ideal for any age that we have been with. The calm and peaceful gardens , panoramic views of the mountains of the West Bank from the infinity pool ,or playing with my nephew at the zoo or children's pools.Perfect a big thank you to all the staff for their hard work in making it another wonderful stay.

Returned to this great resort for the seventh consecutive year and once again were not disappointed We were welcomed by the friendly staff with the usual enthusiasm, although tourist numbers are low we could see a increase in numbers nat the hotel and hope this continues We enjoyed our two weeks and look foreword to returning next year

I was slightly concerned that after years of low tourist numbers, it would take its toll and the hotel would be in decline. However I would assure any previous visitors they have nothing to fear. The rooms have been looked after and the hotel has sensibly introduced complementary water in the rooms to drink. The staff remain attentive and wonderfully friendly. If the hotel are reading this I would I like to suggest that although smoking is allowed freely in Egypt and the rooms are no smoking they might want to think about extending this to other parts of the hotel. Perhaps the pool sides or in the Ascot bar identify one part for smokers to stay. It wasn't a problem for me and when others smoked nearby it was easy to move. It felt like the hotel was starting to see some growth in numbers which I hope will encourage the hotel to keep up the good work.

We have been to this hotel a number of times and would not stay anywhere else in Luxor. The staff are really attentive and nothing is to much trouble Gomaa in the bar is a gem. The setting of the hotel is unique set on an island in the Nile. The views across the river are stunning. The majority of the guests return to the hotel year after year as they just love the hotel. Will be booking our next trip soon. At the moment there does not seem to be many visitors to Luxor this could be due to flights having to go via Cairo rather than direct. Egypt relies heavily on tourism and there are wonderful things to see in Luxor so don't let the flight put you off visit Luxor and stay at the Jolie Ville. You will love it.

This is one the best natural hotel in Egypt. I like this place very much. Especially their Swiming Pool. Also, the hotel natural view is wonderful. I love their Buffet Dinner. A lot of healthy food. Good five-star hotel in Luxor.

On it's own island a 6/7 minute taxi ride from central Luxor. The bungalows are set out in spacious well maintained gardens and are roomy and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel. Food is plentiful, well presented and at very reasonable cost. The Ascot bar is comfy and the barman a complete delight. Breakfast is a huge smorgasbord of delights and the staff are all friendly and helpful. We spent lazy days at the top pool relaxing with gorgeous views of The Nile. Slept like babies in the total peace of the bungalow; I genuinely have never enjoyed sleep like it. If you are looking for faults you will find them anywhere. If you are looking for sincerity and tranquillity then stay here.

We’ve just returned from 17 wonderful, relaxing nights at the Jolie Ville, Kings Island, Luxor and we are already planning our next visit. The number of guests who return year after year is the best advertisement for the hotel. For Luxor, and for Egypt in general, the location of the hotel simply cannot be beaten. A vast, green, exclusive island in the Nile. Peace and nature surround you and the hotel grounds and views are beyond breath-taking. We always stay in a standard bungalow room, perfectly adequate for our needs – comfy (but kind of hard) beds, ample drawer and wardrobe space, a walk in shower and essential aircon that really works! Speaking of beds, if you find yours too hard, just ask for it to be changed for a softer one, nothing is too much hassle for the staff who are determined to make your stay the best. The restaurants are good and food is plentiful. You are not going to go hungry. If you have a special diet need, speak to the chef and hey-presto, it’s taken care of. The Ascot bar is great for a chilled evening, and barman Gomma mixes a mean cocktail! The relaxing adults only swimming pool is a bonus for those of us who don’t want the noise of kids. There’s 2 further amazing pools the kids and families can use. Yes, tourism is facing a downturn in Egypt in general, so occupancy is low. Perfect for those wanting a quiet, relaxing break. Nevertheless, the hotel is running and staffed as if low occupancy doesn’t matter and the staff are a genuine asset to Jolie Ville. I have done many more in-depth reviews of the hotel, so if you want to know more click on my name and read those. Just go – you won’t regret it, and I’d bet money you’ll return one day too.

Due to the time of the year, the hotel was almosr empty. Strict clothing etiquette for the restaurant (paar had to be signed while checking in), was respected only by the Few Western tourists. Swimmingpool pool wasn't cleaner daily and was green at the sides. Food was ok. Hotel photos do not represent the Jolie Ville hotel at Luxor. Location is beautiful, security at the entrance to the Island, makes it difficult for the taxidriver to wait at the hotel entrance. Hotel situated far from the center of Luxor. Good hotel for Large tourist groups (organized tours).
