Upon entering, you are greeted by a large, simply furnished living room with a grey sofa that doubles as a sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we think it is only fair that you use the sofa during the hours when you are not sleeping. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa). Natural light penetrates abundantly through a large window that connects the interior with a balcony, offering an outdoor space perfect for relaxing. The living area is completed by a light wood wall unit that includes shelves for storage, a desk perfect for work or study, and a television.

The kitchen, located next to the living room, is compact but well organised, with light wood surfaces that contrast harmoniously with the white furniture. It is equipped with modern appliances, including an induction hob and a built-in oven. The area is designed to be functional, with a stainless steel sink and ample space for preparing meals, all illuminated by under-cabinet lights that create a warm and welcoming ambience.

The bedroom has a minimalist and elegant style that follows the aesthetic line of the flat. It is furnished with a double bed with a dark wooden frame, combined with white bed linen and decorative black and white cushions, which add a sophisticated touch to the ambience. If you arrive by car, from the A2 motorway take the ‘Lugano Nord’ exit and follow the GPS signs: in 15 minutes you will arrive at the flat. Castagnola 501 does not have a private car park, but guests can park in the free public car parks opposite the building.

By public transport: Arriving at Lugano station, take bus No. 2 direction ‘Castagnola, Capolinea’ and get off after 13 stops at ‘Castagnola, Capolinea’. From here, you will be in front of the flat in 3 minutes on foot.
