Good value basic accom with breakfast

Good basic guest house very near to station and 10-15 mins walk from hostoric centre. You have control of the heating. Reasonable price. Breakfast (€12.50) good (standard north European buffet) but not available till 8.30. En suite rather cramped - not recommend for anyone overweight or with limited mobility. Also there is no lift (and no ground floor rooms).

Old building with nice front view. Extremely clean. Friendly people. But it would be nice if making reservations I would be informed that the toilet and shower are shared by four rooms on our top floor.

A great and quaint stay.

Talk about quaint. The Hanseatic hotel is a B&B just outside of Lübeck’s old city. It’s proximity to both the main bus and train stations make it a perfect stop for travellers who have travelled far to reach Lübeck. It’s quiet at this hotel (although this might because I went in February), which if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s perfect for. Breakfast in the morning is superb and the staff are excellent, I can’t overstate their helpfulness and kindness. The one complaint that I will say, is that the walls a slightly too thin. Apart from that, they’re very well kept and suitable at least for my needs as a solo traveller.

Convenient.

Good location near Hautbahnhof and bus station. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. No lift we had to climb 3 flights of steep stairs with heavy luggage. WiFi kept cutting out.

Holiday stay in Luebeck

When we arrived, we were told at check-in that our room was on the third floor. That's fine, any floor is OK. However, when I asked where the lift was, I was told that this hotel does not have a lift. So how are two seniors in their seventies get their luggage to the third floor. The staff member was not at all concerned, did not offer to help nor get someone to help us. He quickly left the reception area and was not seen again. Any accommodation that calls itself a Hotel should have a lift. If no lift is present,it should be clearly indicated, so customers can clearly decide to book or look elsewhere. It also appeared that the room did not have a private bathroom, but a shared bathroom. The room booking details referred to an "open bathroom". To me that means the bathroom is part of an "open plan" type room, it does not mean sharing it with others. .

Very Upset!

This hotel was a scam, and the hotel owner attempted to assault me, because I complained that the phone didn't work all the while he would not accept that his phone system was broken. The bed had hair in it, the room was dirty! The police were called and they helped realized that the phone system would not work and that the owner was belligerent. We use Hotels.com all the time and we have never been disappointed, this was false advertisement on behalf of Hotel Hanseatic and they should be ashamed of their business and operation. Regards- Very unhappy customers!

Charmigt äldre hotell

Vi stannade en natt på detta hotell. Charmig gammal byggnad. Rummet var enkelt och fräscht. Lite jobbigt att det saknades hiss när vi skulle släpa upp allt bagage. Hotellet har bara fyra parkeringar och när vi kom var alla upptagna. På gatorna runtomkring var det väldigt fullt och trångt så vi fick stå drygt 500 meter bort,

Sentralt - men mye trafikk støy

Hoteller ligger sentralt plassert men kun 100 meter til tog stasjonen og sentral buss stasjon rett utenfor hotellet. Dette gir mye støy fra diesel busser. Det var muggsopp på rommet. 3 gratis parkeringsplasser utenfor. Hyggelig betjening. 5 min gange til gamlebyen
