6 Person Holiday Home in Ludvika

Welcome to Ludvika, in the charming and wonderfully remote landscape of the Dalarna region. Here you live in the middle of nature, in a cozy holiday home in the country, which is located directly on a lake. In the holiday home you have an open kitchen / living area for family life, two bedrooms and a bright bathroom including whirlpool and washing machine. In the living area there is a double sofa bed and a wood stove for cooler evenings. Also a bedroom with a double bed, the second, smaller one with a bunk bed in the house. Outside there is a beautiful wooden veranda with a wonderful lake view through the green of the trees. There are comfortable seating and a grill for summer days. Above the house you will find a small lawn with play equipment such as a sandpit, swing and slide for children as well as a hammock. A rowing boat with an electric motor and two kayaks are available on a private jetty (approx. 20 m from the house) in Lake Övre Hillen and can be used free of charge. Good fishing opportunities right in the lake, which has clean and clear water. The owner has set up a freezer in the barn, where you can keep the possible catch. In addition, two bicycles can be rented on site for excursions (no guarantee!). This accommodation provides a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Dalarna region, e.g. on forest walks, fishing trips or nature trips. The city of Falun with its pit is a little further away. The home of the artist Carl Larsson in Sundborn and the Anders Zorn Museum in Mora are also worth a visit. A day trip by car around Lake Siljan offers wonderful views coupled with cultural experiences such as old Dala courts, folk music, handicrafts etc. In Leksand there is a small summer country for the whole family.
