Nestled in a private woodland glade, our Star Dome offers the simple joys of the great outdoors; designed for nature cravers, adventure chasers, peace and quiet seekers, star gazers and memory makers. It offers an enriched way to explore nature close up with amenities you would expect to find in a deluxe hotel: well-appointed beyond your expectations. When you gather around the fire, there is a special sense of companionship and an atmosphere of relaxation - every moment is transformed into a magical experience.

The Star dome features a natural fire with warming flames creating a cosy atmosphere without irritating sparks or smoke. Easy to use...a push of a button is all it takes to create a warming fire and a stylish ambiance. *Please note that gas for the firepit is an additional £25 charge and is subject to availability.

This luxurious glamping accommodation features a king size bed with plush pillows and a luxuriously cosy duvet, a full sized dining table and chairs, outside furniture, a luxurious Scandinavian wood fired hot tub (4 person tub, £75 extra charge payable direct and must be preordered). The hot tub will be lit on your day of arrival and includes one basket of logs. Extra logs can be purchased from the main house for £6 per bag, BBQ, and a private bathroom with a steaming hot shower, a flushing toilet and convenient kitchenette.

All well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog which will be due in cash on arrival. Dogs are not permitted on furniture. All guests bringing dogs are required to sign our dog policy before checking in. Please be aware that we do not accept adult only groups unless arranged and agreed prior to booking. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. Guests booking in Winter (November - March) are reminded that this is a glamping experience with the log burner as the main source of heating. NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN IN WINTER. Baskets of kiln dried wood are available from us at £6.00 per basket. Various hampers also available starting from just £35.00. We have an EV charger on the property subject to additional charges.
The accommodation is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a fireplace and a dining table.

Fabulous stay in such natural surroundings.

Beautiful place. Very secluded but still not far from the town. Great if you are looking for something a bit different. Big temperature range (really hot during the day) but really cold at night but the hot water bottles and electric blankets were great. Hot tub was great but needs heating yourself but lightning a fire. Great instructions meant there were no issues.

Overall a fantastic place to stay and we would come back. The views are fantastic and the accommodation itself is cosy and practical. There was a minor issue which was dealt with after a while. The only small snag for us was that it wasn’t clear on the website that there is no door between the kitchenette and the bathroom - as a couple we were not overly bothered by this but it could have been clearer.
