The room was lovely, and comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent. The only poor thing was a very noisy fan somewhere outside my window, so I had to shut the windows on a hot night, the fan did go off, not sure what time, to be fair I do put the light out fairly early.

Very old decro room , was ok ,but not to my taste. Staff very friendly and overall good. It is a pub but it was not noisy in the night. Short drive to the town. I would prefer to walk to Ludlow but we could not find anything closer.

Friendly, helpful staff, very welcoming on arrival. Nothing too much trouble. Beautiful room and bathroom and the thickest, most luxurious towels you can have. It was one of the hottest nights when we stayed over, so the room was extremely warm, although they kindly provided us with a fan. Excellent breakfast and fabulous service by the lovely Lucy.

All of the above I was particularly impressed that when I asked about getting a taxi to a concert about 6 miles away that the staff gave me the number for a shuttle bus that would pick us up from the pub and take us to the concert and bring us back again so that was a huge surprise and a really big help

This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.
