Lovely B&B just outside Lucca

Lovely little spot just on outside the perimeter walls of Lucca - nice rooms, charming decor, key card entry for room and main door, and off street parking. Well run and very friendly, with a great breakfast, I recommend staying here.

Ideal location for visiting Lucca

Super quick check in. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Great shower and bathroom facilities. Located just outside on of the main gates to the city is an ideal location. Great restaurants are literally minutes away.

We booked through Expedia but when we arrived there was no safety deposit box as stated on website. The website also stated free bike hire but this in fact wasn’t true. When we questioned the man in the office he explained that bookings via third parties did not benefit from the description on the website. Also the website stated 24 hour reception but this was not the case.

Clean, but noisy

First, the good........ this B&B is clean and modern. The bathrooms are well fitted. Plus, the property is well located just outside the city wall. The bad.......... however, it is located on a major roundabout. We struggled with noise from traffic from outside. But also, the front door to the Villa banged loudly everytime someone came in or out and the tiled corridor amplified noise at night. Overall, it was noisy.

A Pleasure

Absolutely loved Villa Anna, Max & co were perfect hosts and very helpful. The decor superb, and the location perfect for seeing beautiful Lucca old town. Great buffet breakfast, but unfortunately my son was unable to join us as he has a pet fur allergy and although the resident dog was cute, was allowed to roam around in the breakfast room. Otherwise a perfect stay, we would stay again

Great little cation

We arrived very early in the morning as we had just come from the ferry in Livorno and the owner kindly said we could park our car in the car park and we got an early check in. The room was spacious, bright and light. Breakfast was more than adequate. The location was fantastic, being only minutes away from Porta Elisa. All in all an excellent choice!

Great little B&B

Lovely stay at Villa Anna. Located just outside of city walls and short walk from train station. Staff were great and breakfast excellent... Great choice especially considering small amount of rooms. Room was lovely and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

This was a great B&B. Max was most welcoming. Ideal place to stay .....so close to walk to the centre of Lucca. Although it is B&B ........suggestion would be for a coffee making facility in rooms ? Definately visit again .......Perfect!!
