Except for really archaic lifts, everything is up to scratch. Rooms well maintained, breakfast - more than satisfactory. No problem with parking space (payable extra), location also OK. Very warm and friendly staff. Comfortable and good size bed, a bit of traffic noise, but not obtrusive.
It's the only one I visited in Lublin, I hope there are better ones.... Friendly staff and clean on the positive side but small room, tiny bathroom. The heating didn't function, the technician would be back the following morning, friendly staff gave us an electrical heater... Not really up to standard..
A very nice Hotel, a nice localization. Room very nice design, restaurant with a good menu, fast snacks, hot meals. Breakfast with a lot o variety...big assortment. Security parking in front of Hotel. Service very good. With a gym, unfortunately I didn't try it, because as too late to practise exercise. I recommend. In this hotel I already stayed more than 20 times. Best Regards
Very good hotel for family travel with child. Good hotel stuff. Good breakfast. A lot of places for secured car parking near hotel. Hotel near historic center of city. Good for walking and resting....
I spent 4 nights in that hotel in October. Hotel room was OK. I am vegan and breakfast options were very limited for me. I asked for soya or rice drink instead of regular milk. Waiter had no idea what I am talking about.
I like the location of the hotel and gentle staff, room was clean, spacious and designed properly, equipped eg with kettle/coffe machine, bed was very wide and comfortable, breakfest offers very nice buffet full of fresh products
We have just spent four days at the Mercure hotel in Krakow. Our prestige room was perfect. The hotel location is ideal with the Galleria shopping mall opposite and the charming old town square a five minute walk away. The Mercure Hotel staff were wonderfully, welcoming, polite and helpful. Their concierge organised our tour bus to Auschwitz, we were picked up at the hotel door and dropped back to the same location. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfasts, especially the omlette station. On leaving we were treated to a complimentary pretzel by a charming member of staff in traditional dress. From the beginning of our stay to the last day, every member of staff was exceptional in their courtesy, efficiency and friendliness. Our thanks to all at the Mercure Hotel. We shall certainly be returning. Many thanks, Celine and Garrett Synnott
The hotel wasn't horrible. The hotel is new, but the rooms are tiny, the bathrooms are smaller than in an RV, the staff was unhelpful when I asked for more towels, and the beds are literally as hard as a rock. The carpeted floor was probably softer than the bed. The pillows were super stiff. When I asked for a feather pillow (pretty common request) they could not accomidate me. The thermostat didn't work so we slept with the windows open in the winter night. This place was a nightmare. With that said, the old city of Lublin is very charming. This hotel may actually really be the best in this small town, but I would check if I returned to see if there was something better. i might even go BnB next time if there is nothing better..
The location is about a 30 minute walk to the town center, this is not exactly what I thought of a hotel in the center of town parking was not free they charged me 9 euro for 1 night, that was not mentioned in the prospectus. The hotel is OK the room was not so bad or old, but full , 2 single beds, a bureau and a side table. The bathroom had a very small shower. The water temperature was fluctuating. the breakfast however was good, a nice buffet whit a wide choice. all in all I don't think I will stay here again.
We'd been to several Mercure hotels all over the world and we have to say that this one is by far the best (Mercure Randburg Johannesburg was the worst). The Lublin hotel building is dated, as we could see from the 1998 elevator and doors. No fancy key-cards here, but ordinary keys. Once you step in to the room you'll be amazed. The rooms have been modernised beyond the latest standard. + Modern room + Very clean + Good quality WC paper. An exception in Poland! + Bins are lined + Free WiFi rather stable + Near old town and public transport + ATM at the door + Location + Sealed toiletries provided + Shower exceptionally good. Instant warm water, and the water stays within the cabin! + TV + Fridge - Breakfast very expensive at 44 PLN per person. - The mattress protector makes you perspire. Situated 15 minutes walk from the old town and some 300m from the nearest bus stop. The nearest supermarkets are 700m. There is also a large mall (Lublin Plaza) with a good cinema some 600m away.
