I can only agree with the other rave reviews on this site. The hotel is an oasis, the smiling staff could not be more friendly or helpful , the rooms are lovely, the terrace was spacious and overlooked the pool and the mini bar has complimentary soft drinks. Breakfast was something to look forward to every morning with a different 'special' to delight in every day. The coconut pancakes were to die for. The hotel is ideally situated, being a mere 10 minutes from the centre of town and the wonderful Night Market. I can highly recommend it and would not want to stay anywhere else if I return to Laung Prabang
This is a lovely hotel with charming staff, a peaceful pool and great drinks at the pool bar. (Happy hour too!) The shower was fantastic, the room had enough space and a nice selection of free soft drinks. I only marked it down because I think that it is a little expensive for what it offers.
We loved this hotel. Room was lovely with a big balcony to relax on and free soft drinks from the mini bar. It's an easy quick walk to the town centre and we also utilised their free push bikes which was a lot of fun. Pool was great and breakfast was very nice (their omelettes and poached eggs were delicious) and the staff at breakfast and pool area were really wonderful. There were even some games to play scattered around the garden which were a lot of fun. Khampan on reception was very good but special mention goes to Bounlieng. He made our check in and room orientation one of the best we've had. So friendly and welcoming. His English was excellent and he did so many things for us (booking restaurants, checking out things we wanted to do). He was exceptional!!! Thank you Bounlieng. We'd definitely stay here again.
This beautiful hotel exudes peacefulness. It is about a 10 minute walk from the bustle of the night market. The staff is extremely friendly and the smiles at every turn seem genuine. One night we were walking back to our hotel and met one of the staff on the street, who greeted us by name and asked whether we had enjoyed our evening. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The only quibble was that the safe in our room was not working correctly. Highly recommended.
Three nights at room 210 was wonderful. Staff are helpful and very informative. This is our first time in Laungprabang but we feel like at home. Highly recommend if you looking for a charming place for your wonderful trip. Authentic food and heavenly massage make us want to come back.
We were a late honeymooners who just got a chance to get away 6 months after our wedding and mentioned this upon making the reservations. Unbelievably it turned out that we were treated as just married. The hotel surprised us with a happy honeymoon bed set up with a nice welcome card from the Hotel Manager, Lucky, upon arrival and a heartshaped sweet dessert in one of the evening. The hotel itself is formerly the residence of a Laos Prince so we felt like having a romance in a white house. The staff are truly friendly and always assist to the utmost. Daily breakfast was tasty and the meals we had in their restaurant were delightful too. Location is very ideal, walkable to the night market, national museum and Phousi Mountain. Bicycling can be an option to explore the city as well. Tat Kuangsi is another natural beauty spot in this world that you must see in Luang Prabang. Definitely recommended for the destination and the hotel!
I would not hesitate in recommending this beautiful little gem of a hotel. Give me this sort of hotel over the large chain city hotels anytime. The level of service and comfort is 5*. The staff were happy extremely friendly and truly helpful they made our visit very special. We didn't eat in the restaurant but we had breakfast in the mornings which doesn't have the vast selection you get in larger hotels but it was more than adequate and very fresh. My husband loved the omelettes. It has a nice pool area great to relax after busy mornings sight seeing try the lemongrass ice tea It's really refreshing. The location is ideal within walking distance to the night market the Mekong and Khan Rivers a host of local bars and restaurants.
Charming hotel with extremely friendly, polite and helpful staff, delicious food and pleasant pool. Short walk into town. Comfortable bedrooms. Could not have been better looked after. Highly recommended.
We stayed in one of the terrace rooms which was very nice and quite to boot. Everything worked and they were kind enough to restock our refrigerator daily with diet soft drinks rather than the regular ones that were present when we arrived. The staff was considerate and efficient, The location is minutes from the night market and palace area, closer than I expected from the reviews. During our three day stay we enjoyed a happy hour by the pool, breakfast every morning, a lunch or two and one dinner. All the meals were good and the terrace is a nice setting, particularly in the morning and evening when it is cool. As this was our first trip to Luang Prabang I can't really say how this hotel stacks up against others in its class but we certainly found it met our needs and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
A charming place which used to be the Crown Prince of Laos home! Room was delightful, swimming pool and services excellent. We did eat in once or twice and it was good food served in the attractive open air dining room by very helpful staff.
