Sofitel Wroclaw Old Town5.0 out of 5.0

I visited this hotel with my wife. It is very well located in the old town. You can walk everywhere. But you need to also be aware of a few important things. The first room we were given did not have working air conditioning and the bathroom needed repair. The water pressure in the shower was weak. We moved to a larger room with working air conditioning but the temperature never went below 70 degrees. We asked the hotel but that seems to be the lowest they can get it. The room always felt warm.
This hotel is perfect for exploring the old part of Wroclaw. Part of my reason for choosing this hotel was the gym and it served me well (although the air con wasn't strong so be prepared to get hot!). The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I didn't opt for breakfast when I booked and was asked if I wanted to add it at check-in but at £17 I felt this was expensive so went to local restaurants. I did have room service and this was good quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
I brought a group to this hotel last week, i had stayed here before with no problems but this was a bigger group for a longer time. Everything was so efficiently organised, check in was seamless although we were early the staff did all they could to get us in. The place is spotless, the breakfast and room service were plentiful and top quality. Bars are lovely and despite being on a very busy street over the weekend, no noise issues. The complimentary water daily is a lovely touch along with the quality of the bathroom products. An excellent place to stay in a fabulous location
Me and two friends stayed here 2 nights for a girls trip in July. We booked the junior suite with king size bed and a pull-out sofa. It was perfect. We had the sweetest house keeper and front office were super helpful and service minded. We also had room service the first night - the food was amazing. There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel. All three of us loved it, it was close to everything old town, shopping, eating. Breakfast that we had included was delicious! I will definitely be back.
A great stay in the Sofitel for a business trip. From check in to check out, we were looked after superbly. On arrival, Mateusz looked after us on check in and i was greated with a lovely refreshing drink and fruit in my room. The room was perfect, spacious, clean, and had everything i needed!
Massive thank you to the Sofitel Wroclaw staff as our stay was absolutely fantastic. We booked our stay at Sofitel for 5 nights but because we had kiddies with us so we thought that our experience might not be too impressive. As we come into the bedroom / two bedrooms we were grrated by little gifts for our kiddies. The train tracks are brilliant all three boys are still playing with them. Both the kid's ripped into the gift as if they were Tasmanian devils (Yes with the same noise). At the reception most of the staff are brilliant but Patrycja who went to extra mile to make sure that we and the children enjoyed our stay in Wroclaw. She almost acted as a guide and even went to the Zoo with us, yes to the Zoo. She is a brilliant member of staff who supported and made as feel at home. In the mornings the breakfast staff probably did hear us coming from the 5th floor but still welcomed us with a warm smile and stayed really friendly with our kiddies. Special thank you to morning breakfast staff called Asia which always supported us with our requests and the noise coming from Tarzan and Mogli. (Our children)
Usual Sofitel creatures comforts, this one of top hotels in the city is perfectly located for the Old Market Square and its all eateries and points of interest. Everything is 5 - 10 minutes walk... But the greatest feature of the hotel is its staff... We were there for short break after our marriage and the welcome was fabulous. From great bunch of flowers to a gift of small padlock to fix to the Old Town Love Bridge (which we did attached :) ... Great place to stay!
I stayed here in May, my 4th trip to the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel has deteriorated somewhat in the last 2 years. It's OK as a 3* but when branded as Sofitel 5* that's what I expect to receive. I will start with the positives- breakfast was lovely. Well cooked, fresh and plenty choice. The rooms were dated and woren. Most noticeably there was holes in the wallpaper. On the second day, the external handle fell out of the door! Most disappointing was that the spa was shut 2 days before our visit leaving us no option to rebook elsewhere. I wanted to stay here for the central location and it is that. However we were greeted at the door each night with drunks. It would have been preferable to have door security. Overall disappointing. WROCLAW is great and I will be back but probably staying at one of the apartments because I stayed in an apartment at the other end of the street 6 months earlier and was super impressed with their quality finish.
This Sofitel has great service and is in the center of stary Rynek. Perfect location and steps outside your door, you are in the action of market square. For that reason, I love it. The service is also very nice, everyone is dressed up and very professional. I can't say anything about that, the staff was simply wonderful. One thing I would recommend though, are updating are the showers in the rooms. The water pressure is poor and water simply drips out of the shower making it an uncomfortable showering experience. It is also extremely small and a hand held unit, not designed to be mounted and used as a normal shower head. I think if they were to update the showers by adding newly renovated rain showers and removing the tubs, this would be a 5 star experience for guests. That is the trend I have been seeing in other international hotels. It is what made the 5 star anticipated experience, a 3 star average experience. The room was very relaxing though and beds were comfortable. Nice stay, minor details but would definitely add the updates in order to achieve that 5 star experience other hotels offer!
Best hotel near the Old Town. There are many good restaurants near the hotel just in case you want to step out. The rooms are very comfortable and very friendly and courteous staff. Never an issue to find a cab as the hotel staff would help you flag one down :)
