staff is very helpful, no problem with noise in my room, bed is VERY comfy - feather duvets, large selections of pillows, several layers of toppers; breakfast has everything you would expect; excellent location - just steps away from main square; the hotel is not new, gym is small, but the level of service is excellent.

The hotel is situated in a shared building with other offices and shops. There is an atrium running up through the centre of the building. In the Sofitel's wisdom, they run functions in the lobby so music, compère announcements and general audience noise travels up the atrium, down the hotel corridors and into the rooms next to the atrium. Two nights running we had booming music noise in our room. The second night was particularly bad and had to relocate to another room at 11pm. Lobby was inaccessible with the functions so forced to used a side entrance. Bar inaccessible with the functions. Offered club points as an apology for the inconvenience, but never credited to our account. First room was in good condition but the room we were relocated to was jaded

14 of us stayed here last weekend. The location is perfect. It couldn't be more central. We never saw a taxi all weekend. It's close to the main attractions along with nice restaurants and lively bars. The hotel staff were very friendly. I used the spa it was lovely. Pity it doesn't have a pool but I had a massage and it was great value at less than 50 euro. It's a beautiful 5 star hotel 🏩

+ great location, right in the centre + decent size of the room + tasty breakfast with variety + comfy beds (bit soft for me but that's just personal taste) + good gym - check-in was poor (Sunday around 6pm) - empty reception, had look for the guy, didn't explain anything about the hotel, basically just gave us keys and pointed to the breakfast restaurant. With lobby being quite cold it does not help the staff is not smiling. - in room power outlets (or the lack off) - 21st century when people have mobile, notebook, tablet etc. and you have to unplug lamp so you can charge next to the bed (works only if you keep card plugged in the switch), or you can charge at the table. Some adapter would help. Then there is one pointless outlet in the entrance corridor of the room. - spa - tiles on the floor in the dry sauna? They get hot, that you can't really step on it - put some wooden floor like every other normal sauna. - staff - you have to ask everything when you enter - they don't explain anything plus even when it was empty it was messy...towels and slippers on the floor, relax room was not cleaned up after previous guests, cold for a spa, lights like you're in a mall and not sauna / spa. It just didn't feel relaxing. It's not a bad hotel. The service and some details are letting it down. I expect more from a 5* hotel.

Only a few steps of away of the market place, you find the red carpet leading you to this luxurious hotel. The staff welcomes you very friendly and while you check-inn you get a tasty refreshment. The glass elevators bring you to your floors in no time where you will find your excellent room. Fully equipped with all what one would need for a perfect stay : the rooms are spacious with free wifi and satellite TV, you can enjoy your own Nescafe machine while wearing your soft bath robe. The hotel is in the middle of old town so perfechtly situated for shopping and dining out. The breakfast is excellent with all fresh food and great coffee and again the staff makes you feel at home! In one word : excellent hotel in a wonderful town !

What a nice stay! In the heart of the city, nice elegant appearance and super friendly staff! All was perfect, room amenities, concierge, modern en suite bath and closet. Nothing to ameliorate. Well done Sofitel. I definitely come back privately.

It is a well organized Hotel, clean and modern. It is down town, next to the pedestrian zone. Popular Restaurants in 5 minutes walking distance. Personal is friendly and well trained. Therefore, always a good place to stay.

Great hotel, modern and good location in old town. A lot of restaurants close by. Good breakfast, clean rooms and good value for the money. Spa and gym in the hotel, very good for business but also good for family stay.

Stayed here three nights in a girls holiday. Staff were lovely, room was nice and enjoyed the wellness centre. A pool would be nice though. The hotel is in a great location and it's so easy to walk everywhere. Would recommend this hotel.

2 nights here for a weekend. Very central hotel and once arrived from the airport, no transport required. Taxi rank outside and Uber is here also. Very nice reception on arrival and was given a free drinks voucher due to sofitel loyalty card. I had booked a suite for a good price and so no upgrade possible. The suite was a proper suite with separate living room and bathroom and bedroom, unlike some "suites" where it is just one big room with a divider. The minibar was free and well stocked. Windows opened and ventilation was good, not much noise from the town centre very close by and a very lively nightlife. I didn't check out the gym and spa this time. Breakfast downstairs was first class, whether you wanted a "full English" or european style, buffet style with attentive service from staff. Eggs etc done to order. I'd certainly stay here again even if it is was just because it is so central.
