We visited for a short break staying 3 nights, and were very pleased. The location was very good, just a short (10 minute) walk to the town square, and fairly central to most attractions. We took tours as part of our visit, and tour minibuses were able to pick us up from the hotel. We ate in the hotel for breakfast each day and had one evening meal. Breakfast was good, with a selection of continental options, although very busy with some large tour groups. Our service at dinner was a little bit slow, the food was OK, but nothing special, and we were told that the chef was too busy for us to order dessert. The room was pleasant, clean and had everything that we needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, and would visit again.
When I stayed there, some homeless and drunkyards were hanging around the entrance. The front desk staff was rude. Cleanliness was ok, the bathroom was ok and room too, both had a decent size. Room was rather quiet. There were no shop around, beside a petrol station and a McDonald's.
The Campanile is ideally suited for an easy walk into the main town. It isn't in the poshest area but there is a lot of redevelopment going on so the area will improve. It is quiet, very clean, frequented by many nationalities and I would happily stay there again. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bedding pristine but be prepared for lime green furniture. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room but I failed to get the hair dryer in the bathroom to work. It wasn't a problem though as I took my own. The breakfast was very comprehensive with something for everyone. I visited Wroclaw with a mixed group and couples appear to be put on the upper floors while single people (including those sharing a room) are on the first 2 floors with, I believe, men on one floor and women on another. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English - essential if your Polish is non-existent. It all felt very safe even though we walked back from the main town at 1.30 in the morning. The only thing I would do differently is to take either a pair of flat shoes or at the very least something with a wider heel as there are cobblestones of all shapes and sizes everywhere! It adds to the charm but ....
This was a friendly clean hotel situated within walking distance of the city centre. The staff were trying to help make it a good stay. The rooms were clean ans well presented. The food was of a good standard well prepaired and well presented.
Good value for money. Location good. 15 min walking to the old square. Restaurant quite nice, rooms as well but my bathroom was quite old and dirty. I found parking for my car in fro t of the hotel without any problems and it was for free.
Since we were driving to the destination, it was each to find. However, finding the roads leading to the hotel was a challenge since there were no signs leading the way. I tend to stay in Campanile Hotels while traveling in Europe as they are a great value. However, this one was disappointing. The wifi was non existent in the evening/night, even after I told the staff. Also the A/C barely worked in my room.
We stayed in this hotel during WYD 2016 and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel where to stay!!! The staff were very courteous and extremely helpful, the quality of the rooms and service was top notch. very very central in a quiet location only a few minutes walk to the main market square. We also met the director, who was very nice and his interest and care for our comfort during our stay was very evident from his questions and conversation. We will definitely go back there with no hesitation and would recommend the hotel to anyone, Business, Family Holidays, Physically challenged, they cater for everybody and anybody. Thank you for making our stay and holiday one we will cherish always!!! Thank you!!!
A great hotel, within walking distance of the historical town. Free car parking - though arrive early. Rooms basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK but lacked variety and finished at 10. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Definitely worth a stay.
Lovely hotel. No frills room but Clean and modern. Very helpful and friendly staff when asked to booked taxi's etc . Reasonable breakfast choice and had a meal one evening which was very good. About 10-15 min walk to centre.
This hotel is not too far from the airport - take the bus to the town and then you can walk from there. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the Old Town and all the bars and restaurants - just follow the river, cross the bridge and walk down the road. Staff were lovely and really helpful. The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. It does need a spruce up and a refurb. Taps were loose in the bathroom, paint peeling etc. Overall, for the price it is a good deal. I would use this hotel again as it is such a close base to Old Town.
