Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park is only a 40 minute drive up the stunning Big Thompson Canyon.
Head 5 miles east to I25 corridor for a jaunt north to Cheyenne or south to Denver.
In the summer go boating on Boyd Lake, Carter Lake or Horsetooth Reservoir, all within a 20 minute drive or less. Or walk to the swim beach on Lake Loveland.

My daughter and I stayed here so we would be close to a family reunion in Ft Collins. The house was perfect -comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything we might need. This VRBO is one the best that we have stayed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the bath towels were large and luxurious. The kitchen was very well equipped. Nice cozy house to use as home base for exploring northern Colorado (Estes Park, Ft Collins, Loveland, RMNP) as well as Denver for the day. Very quiet neighborhood, central a/c, and three nice bedrooms. Sweet backyard with table and chairs for al fresco dining (AM and PM), big living room, and ample parking. What a wonderful place with a wonderful patio to watch summer quick storms and the sun. Owner was very accomodating and pleasant to speak with. the house is very well decorated and comfortable. Spent 1 or 2 days just lounging and enjoying the place.
