As it was my tenth time in Hotel Roissy, I think I can be a good judge of the hotel. The place is very near to the Sanctuary (where you can meet Our Lady). Rooms are nice, food is excellent, staff is lovely. Special thanks to Hanane in the lunchroom and Marianne of the front desk. Hope to see you back next year!!
This is a great hotel. It is a stone's throw away from the Rosary Basilica. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was not included for us, we paid separately but the breakfast was worth it.The staff were helpful and courteous, booked cabs for us whenever we needed at normal rates. They also have a lovely in-house souvenior shop which gives you a discount if you stay there. I would definitely book it again.
We have already choosen this hotel for the third time and we are still satisfied with its service.. nice new rooms, very good located, We always have half board. The breakfast buffet presents averything you need and the diner is well presentet. Fresh, no convenience food.
I will without hesitation return. Perfect location excellant food great value. Rooms very clean staff most excellant professional friendly helpful they made us feel soooo welcome. Rooms on the street side can be a little noisy at around 5.300am the garbage lorry turns up for about 10 minutes....you feel like shouting get out the Front door but it has to be done. Ladies and gent in dinning room were outstanding. Close to all bars and restaurants. Go for it !!!!! David Grant
Location wise indeed is very near the Santuary around 2-3 mins walk. However is quite a distance from the train station- Gare SNCF. The room is lovely decorated with balcony and able to stay up to 3 person as well in one room. Amenities are all provided in the room including individual locker to store your items. Breakfast is very nice, serving simple french breakfast - buffet style. However just the sitting is quite complicated as it is divided into 2 sections which we are only allow to consume at one section even though both side serves the same food. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a affordable place to stay in Lourdes and nearby the Santuary, this is the place for you!
Rooms are small, staff dont speak english, wifi is terrible, food is terrible. Bar service was very slow and unable to keep up with the demand of our group. But it is cheap so you get what you pay for.
This was our fourth visit. The location is perfect. Very close to the sanctuary yet quiet. There is hotel parking, with reservation, and a public car park next door. The staff are uniformly lovely. Cheerful, helpful and kind. The rooms are fine. Firm but comfortable beds and nice and calm. The restaurant serves somewhat basic but nutritious food with first-class waiting staff. We shall stay again and recommend to family and friends.
Great location, 2 mins walk from the sanctuary with 2 bus stops close to it (lines 4 and 5) serving most of the town including the train station. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were super friendly! When we asked about something they rushed into doing the calls and getting us all needed information and even reservations with the cheapest tours & buses. The hotel only needs to have better internet connection.
Stayed for 3 nights in hotel in October 2016. Refurbished rooms, quiet and welcoming staff. The set menu at restaurant was flavourful and best of all the chef accommodated request for change in main dish. Hassle free and friendly, professional service accorded to family (visited 2 years ago) and individual. Excellent!
We spent a 5 night break at this hotel recently. It is only afew minutes walk from the Santuary entrance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I am coeliac and follow a strict gluten free diet. I emailed the hotel prior to booking and was told that was not a problem. Sara in the restaurant was very knowledgable and helpful. Each morning she or our waitress Cathy would have a box of gluten free cereal and bread at the table for me. The buffet breakfast consisted of fruit juice, scrambled eggs, cheese, fruit, yogurts and tea and coffee. My husband was also able to have the lovely bread and pastries. My evening meal was also really good and adapted to my gluten free diet. There is a bar on the ground floor serving coffee, pastries and alcohol. It was a lovely place to relax and watch tv. There is also a shop selling souvenirs and candles for the nightly procession. We would definitely return to this hotel in this future.
