I stayed at this hotel with my mum from 4th till 18th August. The guy that works in the hotel I think his name is Antoine is an absolute credit to the company. I stayed here due to my dad having an accident and he was in hospital in Tarbes. This was a very stressful time for myself and my mum but the gentleman at the hotel was always willing to help, very understanding and caring. He daily made sure that we were fine and was always willing to help us as he knew we were having difficult time understanding staff at hospital and also having issues with insurance company. I would like to recommend that he be rewarded for his very caring and understanding nature. He is a credit to the company and deserves to be rewarded for all he done for us.

For 15 years, Campanile has been my family's go-to chain for travelling in France. We have always depended on them for clean, reasonably priced rooms and a nice restaurant. But this Campanile in Tarbes is best avoided! The rooms were grubby, and the restaurant buffet looked so appalling that we ordered a pizza from Domino's.

We stayed at the hotel as we were watching the Tour De France nearby. We paid only £40 for a room per night for twin rooms. Proper budget prices not over £100 like you pay in the UK. There was ample parking for our van and we had a very good meal in an outside seating area. The breakfast was also very good for what it cost. The rooms are quite basic, but they have great showers, so if you want a cheap place to stay you can’t go wrong here.

Nad that is just what it is. Don't even consider going there unless you have your own wheels. The hotel is a budget class Motel in an industrial zone at the outskirts of Tarbes, but very near the entrance to the major highway. So great for a stopover after a long day of driving or if you have bussiness there. One of the older ones so tjhe wear and tear shows but still acceptable levels of cleanliness. At the time I was there (beginning of May the free WIFI in the rooms didn't work. I was told it was a temporary problem. The center with restaurants and facilities is about 2 km away. At about 50 Euro a room (weekend price) it falls between budget and mid range.

Reasonably good price, with a comfortable room, quite warm but definitely a bit of a squash. 2 people at the most, so if you have young kids it would be difficult. Good wifi. Not many dining possibilities around there, we ended up driving to a nearby McDonalds. Good breakfast with fresh bread and croissants etc, but that is the norm in these places nowadays.

Rooms o.k.if you can get into them. The keys are a joke.I managed to gain entry into the room after about three minutes of fiddling. We watched two other couples who arrived at the same time having to get a member of staff to unlock the doors into the rooms for them. Friendly enough staff but the restaurant is a rip off. The chef should be sacked. The main course was frankly inedible.Never again will I go near the place again.

We were there for the night before the Etape du Tour 2014 and it was very busy. The room was clean and functional and the manager (Sandrine) offered to open breakfast from 5:00 to ensure that all of the riders got breakfast before the race. In the restaurant on the night before everybody wanted to eat and while there was some long waits Sandrine and staff did all they could to ensure everybody ate well. You know what you are getting from a Campanile normally and in this case the staff made the difference and deserved the 5 stars!! Room 3 stars, meal 3 stars, staff 5 stars. Value for money 5 stars.

I went to Tarbes on business, and my customer handled the reservation. This is not a hotel, but a motel by American standards. Upon arrival, the reception staff was very nice and courteous. I was handed a key to the room. There is a €250 charge for a lost key... The room itself is small, but it was clean. The bathroom was clean. Amenities, there are none. They do supply a coffee maker and provide some delicious biscuits. The restaurant was short-staffed in my opinion, but they were courteous and helpful. The food was good, and the wine wasn't bad. Get a room that faces the parking lot, not the road. After having flown all night to Madrid and connecting to Toulouse and driving to Tarbes, I was out like a light. The noise from the auto traffic may bother some people.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The rooms were in desperate need of refirbishment and very dirty. The resturant appeared to have been modernised but by doing so had lost the rustic charm that this chain of hotels was known for. The buffet evening meal starter and desert had less variety than they previously had. If we stay at this chain of hotels again we will make a point of inspecting the room before accepting it.

Cheap hotel but to be expected. Approx €10 each way into town by taxi. Next to the toad so quite noisy. There was a night club close by one night we stayed and we could easily hear the people going home. Bed like a rock. Shower had water.... That's as positive as I can give. Overall for the price we paid (€60 p/room) it was very disappointing. For an extra€15 or so more you would get much more central and better.
