Check-in: The directions were not clear. We ended up entering through a side door and discovered there was a basement apartment that had access to the main house. (we were not aware we did not have the whole house at time of booking) It appeared lived in, but no one was physically in it at that time. Door: The back door never locked from the outside. Someone was sent to repair it on the 3rd evening of our 5 day stay.Amenities: We were only given one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towel for a 5 day stay. When I asked if there were additional paper goods, they said they only give enough to get us started. Furniture: The furniture was worn, especially the couch and ottoman upstairs. The sheets were ripped on one of the upstairs beds. Appliances: The oven did not work. Someone was sent to repair it on the 3rd evening of our 5 day stay, but it was too late for it at that point. The water filter in the refrigerator needed to be replaced. FYI: There are stairs in the front and the back. The back parking is on an incline (my mother fell trying to get up the hill). There is no parking in the front and the nearest street parking is at least a 1/2 block away. Important for older guests to be aware of. Positives: The kitchen/living room space is really open and worked well for our family for the holiday.
