We did not stay here and have tried to get a refund. The area was terrible and frankly scary. Also the room itself was terrible. Wallpaper was peeling in the bedroom and bathroom and the bed squeaked like an old spring mattress. Mirrors were smeared and rooms in general were not very clean.

Our stay here was excellent in every way! The owners were very sweet and went out of their way to assist us in every way, the rooms were very cozy, and the breakfasts were fantastic. This is the best B&B we've ever stayed.

Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. The “inn” was a lovely historic home that was furnished appropriate to the period, which added to its charm. The room was roomy and comfortable. And Susan, the innkeeper, was so kind and helpful!

This was our first overnight stay visiting our daughter who is a student at U of L. This location was central to campus, dining and local sites. The house itself is a piece of charming history. We found the bed and atmosphere as comfortable as home. Breakfast was a delicious and fresh. We will stay here again or possibly try another of the host’s properties. They take every care to make your stay as comfortable as can be. We wanted for nothing. Highly recommend!!

We booked this bed and breakfast for our 6 year anniversary and it was amazing! We had an idea that it was a Victorian era house but we didn’t know that the neighborhood the house is in holds the most Victorian houses in the country! Which made beautiful walks and atmosphere. The owners of the bed and breakfast were very helpful and sweet people it made me and my girlfriend feel very comfortable. I personally loved the way you check in, the owners give an access code and then you get to explore the house and find your room. There are a few places in old Louisville that you can walk to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Overall we loved it! And we can’t wait to go back and book a different room!

Nice Property Impersonal Hosts

Beautiful property close to downtown. Very impersonal though. No access to drinking water except for water cooler. Had coffee tea station but machine was not operable and no access to kitchen microwave. Early flight required breakfast to be served 30 minutes early which they could not accommodate. So in lieu, recieved an orange and bite size scone in a bag. At least a coffee to go would have been welcomed.

Magnificent Mansion!

Absolutely, gorgeous space! Loved the cookies, meeting the owner & gourmet breakfast! Catherine, the chef did a devine breakfast! We walked Central Park & the most gorgeous continuous refurbished Victorians in the US! The attention to detail was amazing with bath bombs provided …highly recommend!

Cute and cozy with a touch of modern

Everything was amazing, but there are lots of stairs. If you love Victorian homes and bed and breakfasts, this place is for you. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place. The food was great and I loved getting to walk around the park and see Shakespeare. It has modern touches like WiFi, air conditioning, and a bathroom in each room.
