De eerste paar dagen was het erg heet. 38 gr. Wij kwamen net uit een ander huis vandaan waar geen airco was en dat was niet heel fijn. Eerder een beproeving. Het was daarom een enorm grote verassing dat dit huis een airco had in de woonkeuken. Dat stond niet in de beschrijving. Deze woonkeuken is eigenlijk een uitgebouwd stukje van het huis. Rondom heeft het glazen schuifpuien en daarnaast nog een terrasje. Heel gezellig maar eenvoudig ingericht. En koel. Verder zijn er in het huis zelf nog 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer. Prima verder. Alles is heel eenvoudig ingericht en aangekleed. Geen luxe. Maar wel gezellig. De eigenaren hebben echt hun best gedaan. Aardige mensen ook. Vanaf de woonkeuken kijk je uit over een groene vallei. Het verhuurde deel van het huis zit vast aan dat van de eigenaren. Naast het huis, aan de eigenaar kant, ligt een groot mooi zwembad. Ondanks deze opstelling is er sprake van totale privacy. Ook bij het zwembad. Je zit nergens in het zicht. We hebben de eigenaren zelfs na ontvangst de eerste dag niet meer gezien of gehoord, terwijl ze er wel waren. Heel netjes. Het huis ligt behoorlijk afgelegen in de natuur. Kleine maar goed onderhouden weggetjes. Er is een dorpje vlakbij waar alles wat je nodig hebt te koop is. Een Hypermarche hoef je niet op te zoeken. Het was een fijne week.

Heerlijk huis met fijn zwembad, rustig gelegen in de Dordogne. Het huis is goed ingericht en ideaal om te ontspannen. Houd er rekening mee dat het bij hoge temperaturen binnen wat warm kan worden, en dat veel toeristische uitstapjes een stukje rijden zijn. Daar staat tegenover dat je volop geniet van de rust, ruimte en het zwembad. Vriendelijke en duidelijke communicatie met de verhuurder.

We hadden een fijne vakantie bij deze Belvilla. Pluspunten: - er stonden vaasjes met verse bloemen (waarschijnlijk uit de tuin) binnen. - weids uitzicht vanaf keuken en terras - compleet keukengerei - combi oven ook als oven tot 200 graden te gebruiken - omgeving is stil, rustgevende natuurgeluiden - fijne bakker en twee kleine supermarkten in de buurt - voor- en achter terras dus je kan kiezen of je zon wil of niet - vriendelijke eigenaren. Hun aanwezigheid is niet opdringerig en ze zijn discreet Verbeterpunten - airco mag tussen 17-21 uur aan bij temperaturen boven de 35 graden buiten, het was erg heet dus we hadden ruimere tijden fijner gevonden. Ook duurde het lang voor het koeler werd met airco. - wasmachine met extra handelingen, maar de eigenaren gaan er iets aan doen - aan de eettafel kan je niet zitten, er zit een balk onder het tafelblad en dat maakt hem ten opzichte van de stoelen te laag, waardoor je benen niet onder tafel passen (maakt niet uit hoe lang je bent) - ramen en deuren overdag gesloten houden, dan vallen de insecten mee. Horren zouden fijn zijn, zeker gezien over de insecten al vaker opmerkingen zijn gemaakt. - bed is veel te klein voor 2 mensen, wij zijn NL maar niet erg lang (175cm) - eigenaren zijn je directe buren en het zwembad zit aan hun kant. - overdekte terras te warm om overdag te zitten. Ramen van de keuken werken als een broei kas, zonnewering aan buitenkant zou een uitkomst zijn. - prullenbakje (ladies bin) op wc mist.

Ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangen met een rondleiding door het huis. Prachtige woning met fantastische uitzicht. De leefkeuken is fantastische, je komt niets te kort. Het zwembad is heerlijk om bij te vertoeven en goed bijgehouden. Prachtige beplanting rondom is zeer goed bijgehouden.

Das Haus und die Aussicht waren großartig! Das Schwimmbad liegt etwas weiter entfernt als erwartet, nämlich auf der Seite des Vermieters, aber wunderbar. Viele Insekten, wie viele schon beschreiben, aber man ist mitten im Grünen. Allerdings war die Matratze so schlecht, unverständlich, dass niemand dies gemeldet hat. Sofort in der ersten Nacht den Vermieter informiert, der sofort jemanden geschickt hat, um alles auszumessen. Super! Es stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass sie erst drei Tage später in den Laden ging und die Matratze fünf Tage später ankam. Nach 5 Nächten mit schlechtem Schlaf war uns das zu lang, sodass wir den Urlaub früher beendet haben. Als wir dies der Vermieterin meldeten, änderte sich ihre Gastfreundschaft sofort in jemanden, der ständig schrie und uns hauptsächlich die Schuld gab, weil die Matratze angeblich noch in Ordnung sei und dass sie die Matratze extra für uns besorgt hatte und wir nicht dankbar genug waren. Dass es für sie auch keine angenehme Situation war, ist verständlich, aber das hätte anders gelöst/kommuniziert werden können. Wir wussten nicht, wie schnell wir danach ins Auto in die Niederlande müssen.

Review of Loubejac holiday home

We have had a lovely, relaxing week here, beautiful, peaceful rural property with a wonderful pool. Isabelle and Nicky were friendly, helpful but also discreet hosts, and the area has lots of interesting attractions to visit. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad. De tuin was prachtig en de twee privéterrassen waren de perfecte plek om te ontspannen. De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden om te koken en op slechts een paar minuten rijden lagen lokale bakkerijen. Een ontspannend uitje!

Deze accommodatie was voor ons perfect. Heerlijk rustig gelegen en zo sfeervol! Het zwembad is geweldig en we hebben vele uren op het dakterras gezeten. Kijkende naar de ondergaande zon. Onze fietsen konden in de schuur en we konden lekker barbecuen. Echt ideaal is dat je in 20 minuten naar Villefranche du Pericord loopt. Wel zwaar vanwege de heuvels. Dit dorpje is ook erg sfeervol.

Ruim, schoon en super dicht bij Villefranche-du-Périgord. De privéterrassen voor barbecues waren totaal anders. Ik kom zeker terug met vrienden voor een zomerse hangout. De gastheren zijn ontspannen en gastvrij. Een 10/10-ervaring.

Huis is wat moeilijk te vinden maar als je er eenmaal bent...... Accommodatie is eenvoudig maar schoon en compleet. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en gedurende het verblijf laten ze je volledig met rust. Wel heel veel vliegen en wespen maar daar kunnen de eigenaren niets aan doen.
