Communication was excellent with Meghan, she was timely in her responses and information. Unfortunately, the apartment does not have air conditioning which in and of itself would not have been a problem, but you have to open the sliding doors in the bedrooms and turn on a fan which is still fine. However the surrounding neighbors would smoke marijuana from about 9P to about 2A and was then drawn into the apartment by the fans keeping the apartment cool. The location is great it’s not very far from all the great locations and things to do in Long Beach. Meghan does not advertise she has A/C, but probably should indicate in her ad that the apartment is not equipped with A/C.

Wonderful stay

The property was very clean, safe and a great central home-base for us while we explored various parts of LA/So-cal. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Having two bathrooms was also very handy for us with two young children.

Just ok - location good, unit needs some work

The host was very friendly and usually quick to respond which I appreciated and the location was great. Aside from a noisy child in the neighboring unit who was only noisy during the day, it was very quiet, especially at night. The unit is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants. But the photos from the listing are a little deceiving. The unit needs some work and is overall dingy. The carpets were all HEAVILY stained. I do not think they were dirty, but visibly stained to the point where it was disconcerting to walk on. The rest of the unit was clean but just run down.There is no AC which I was aware of and is fine but the slider in one bedroom was missing a screen, which was the only source of air for that room, so it did get a little stuffy at night. Only one TV located in a bedroom.On the second night one bathroom ran out of toilet paper and there was only a tiny amount left in the other bathroom. I searched for more but there was none. I messaged the host who responded quickly but said they must have forgotten to restock and she would order us more and it would be there the next day. Not super helpful when you have multiple people sharing what's left of one tiny roll. There were no paper towels. Very few bath towels were provided, exactly one for each guest and one hand towel total. The washing machine was very loud, sounded like something may be broken inside of it.So overall our stay was not terrible, but unsure if I would book this place again.

Short stay to attend a family event in Long Beach.

We were given a checkout time of 11:00 am. Cleaning crew showed up at 10:20 and we were still in the process of packing to leave. The air conditioning did not function during a summer heat spell.

June Stay at Long Beach

Overall, good, but note that it does not have AC!! THE GOOD: Security - gated complex with key card entry - 3rd floor apt - good neighborhood - we felt safe (even with windows open - see below). Parking - spot for a compact car in underground garage Amenities - fully stocked kitchen - usual amenities in bathrooms Cleanliness - very good, with exception of carpet - beds clean and comfortable - kitchen and bathrooms very clean THE BAD: No AC - 80 degrees when we arrived - host emailed us 'I did not advertise AC' - looking back at the ad, that is true - but being from Texas I guess we expect all apartments to have AC and did not even notice that AC was not listed. We had to leave the front windows and rear patio doors open at night to sleep - not everyone would feel comfortable doing this - luckily it is a 3rd floor apt so we felt safe with windows and doors open. It does have 1 small box fan which we put in the front window to create a draft - and it has ceiling fans in the bedrooms which we ran all night Carpets - bedroom carpets, especially master, are dirty from foot traffic - bring house shoes - I would not walk barefoot on it TV - advertised with Disney, etc - true, but it requires a pin code which required a couple days to get from host OVERALL - the apartment was secure, clean, beds comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms fully stocked. The only major flaw was no AC. Would I rent it again? During a cool time of year, yes - summer, no.
