Helpful and considering staff, valet service is outstanding, breakfast is delicious with many varieties, rooms are clean and housekeeping staff are ready to help, concierge is knowledge and generous, hotel free limo is electrical and the hotel is environmentally friendly, flowers, decoration and smell as you enter the lobby is extremely relaxing there is much more to add but space is limited
We stayed one night and the room was pleasant and comfortable and appealing. This was a stay for a special event. The stay was memorable and the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The balcony was a perfect back drop of the LA skyline.
I stayed in the intercontinental with my family (three kids 7,8 and 10) for one week. Everything was perfect starting from the room cleaning to the service. The hotel position it’s strategic to all the attraction in LA!!!!
I only can say thank you for the great hospitality it was wonderful. I truly enjoyed my stay. I enjoyed the gym mostly. The centre is easily accessible and well equipped. The hospitality was amazing and pleasant to interact with the staff. A bit of touch and go but mostly great.
Took a trip to Beverly Hills but was upset with the lack of shuttle service from the airport and house keeping didn't clean my room once, while I was there. The food was delicious and the staff were kind. I would stay there again in the future.
The event was a reception for a new photo exhibit (It's Not An Ostrich) at the Annenberg Space for Photography. I just selected the nearest hotel. Had a day to just do nothing but sightsee. The Hop On-Hop Off stops in front of the hotel. Didn't have to cab to Annenberg- the hotel's complimentary car dropped us off and picked us up. BTW- the comp car is a 2018 TESLA w/ the wing doors. Food at the Mari restaurant was delicious- cocktails very good! Expect no less than the best at an Intercontinental- Century City meets the bar the company has set.
I would have given the hotel 5 stars as the service was great minus the valet parking. It took 20 minutes to bring up our car even after we called from our room. The hotel valet was empty at the time.
The location in proximity to FOX Studios (walking distance) makes this Intercontinental Hotel the place to stay! Has been used for many feature film and TV show locations including Gone Girl. Special services for IHG members!
All great but was put in a room with no bathtub! All I wanted after a hard day at work was a bath. Maybe next time!!! Was too tired and late to change rooms. Besides that, it was great. Trying again in May.
Like others whose reviews we see, we were impressed with the hotel's attentiveness to details and guest services. One pays dearly for it, however, including mandatory valet parking charges. (There is no other parking option.) This property is in the heart of Century City, next to the 20th Century Fox studio lots. Not far away, too, are some of the more charming older Los Angeles neighborhoods with small cottages and bougainvillea-draped fences. It has a lot of the sizzle of a Hollywood movie, with waxed and polished fancy cars and limos dropping off guests into the care of highly efficient valets, and a large staff of crisp and well-trained employees at your service inside. Don't look for free coffee in the lobby (or much free anything) as one would find at the lower-level Holiday Inn-chain properties. If you've already sprung for the cost of this hotel, treat yourself to the excellent breakfast buffet. Business and entertainment-industry folks on expense accounts can (and do) come and go comfortably here, but it's not a usual destination for "ordinary" travelers, including middle-income families. The excruciating traffic to get here and the room prices alone would be a steep deterrent. This could, though, be an extravagant treat for someone who hasn't experienced a high-end hotel. I will say this, too. Some hotels of this level exude an air of haughtiness — an affectation of privilege. This one takes very good care of guests of all stations with a genuine display of friendliness that, for those who are not used to pampering, can be a quite a pleasant and memorable experience.
