The service and rooms were all fine. I had a little bit of peeling wallpaper in the bathroom by the shower and a sink plug that would not stay closed but they were minor things. The room was all fine otherwise. Check in was quick and easy. You can order room service via the TV and it has 60 odd channels. The room was big with balcony from which, with some leaning and a zoom lens, I could see the Hollywood sign and the Nakatomi Plaza directly opposite from Die Hard! However there are no convenience stores or shops within half a mile of this hotel where you can buy water etc. which leaves you in the unfortunate position of having to pay $5 for a 500ml bottle of water or going without. Breakfast is not included and will cost you upwards of $25 for something cooked with toast etc. $19 for an omelette? Priced as if they don't want to do breakfasts. A filter coffee was $8+ from the bar where I would have expected that to be free in a hotel of this size in the mornings. Nearly $10 for a draught beer too before the obligatory tip. All in all these are 5* prices which made me not order any food the entire 5 days I was there - I just did without even though work were paying - I just can't pay over the odds like that and usually would just go out to a nearby CVS etc. for supplies. But here there is nothing like that anywhere near, the hotel is on it's own. That said, if you do bring your own drinks you can take stuff out of the minibar to keep them cold and the literature in the room suggested that you could request a fridge in your room. I did plenty of walking right into Rodeo Drive etc and there is a Westfield mall with Macys and Nordstrom and similar about 600m down the road (but no convenience store within that I found) and the streets seem to be very safe even in the dark. The only danger being the need to cross 8+ lane roads every 100 yards when trying to walk anywhere. I'd stay there again with work next door but probably not if I was holidaying.

This is a lovely, luxury hotel on the Avenue of the Stars in the heart of Century City. Tastefully decorated for both Christmas and Hanukkah this time of year gave this grand hotel a festive air to complement their spacious rooms and excellent service. The bed was amazingly comfortable with a fluffy duvet and great pillows. Quiet and peaceful the hospitality was perfect albeit a bit pricey even for this neighborhood.

Very nice upscale property! Friendly staff, nice bar and lobby. Gym could stand to be updated and lounge chairs by pool should be nicer maybe add padding. Nice gym locker room and lots of free amenities

Near to a big mall about half a mile away. No self parking so valet only with charge of course. Bernadette at the front desk was very helpful. The blanket that came with the rollaway bed as too thin. Remember to ask for thicker blanket (or use 2) if using a rollaway bed.

The tallest building west of Chicago takes advantage of its views with a 70th floor lobby that makes arriving a pleasure. Photo ops in every direction and an inviting lobby bar will keep you there a while before heading to your room. The decor and furniture in the guestrooms and suites is comfortable and relaxing with soft colors and a Los Angeles-themed mural over the beds. Don't miss the lounge on the roof for cocktails, light meals, and just enjoying the music and views.

Just stayed 1 night. Booked a superior room. The view was great and the service was excellent. However, the hotel seems in need of a spruce up. The room showed signs of wear and tear which was not expected at the price point. Bed was very comfortable. Great central location.

Would have given it a 5 if there was a spa! Other than that, the staff was great! We had a late checkout. The room was very nice. The hotel was in close proximity to everywhere i wanted to go! All in all, it was very positive. I would go back!

Beautiful, well-maintained property, conveniently located near the airport and attractions on the west side of town. We travel to Los Angeles once or twice a year and always stay at the InterContinental.

I can not complain about my stay at this hotel. The care and attention to guests is incomparable. From food to room cleaning my note is 100%. I choose this place for us first honey moon without kids and was awesome !!!!

Everything was fantastic!! Except the size of double beds !!! Too small !! Everything was unbelievable!! Definitely coming back on next trip to Los Angeles!!!!! But this time I’m getting a room with a king bed!!
