It's the perfect retreat for singles and couples who want to both feel like they have left the city, when at home, yet 3 minutes down the hill is the heart of the Sunset Strip.

The Sunset Zen Villa is unique a place with the best views and a style all its own.

The Space:
With a newly furnished (May 2023) living room , new outdoor cushions, bedding and towels, the Sunset Zen Villa matches bohemian chic with comfort and style.

The Villa's unique architectural style, jetliner views and wrap-around decks, terraces and gardens, create the quintessential California / Hollywood Hills indoor/outdoor lifestyle retreat.

The modified A frame design of the Sunset Zen Villa features a 20 ft high, floor-to-ceiling, wall of glass with dramatic views of the Los Angeles basin and the southern California coastline out to Catalina Island.

The home has great outdoor space with lushly landscaped decking wrapping around all four sides of the home. The outdoor area includes a large hot tub, gas grill, al fresco dining, chaises and chairs, an outdoor chandelier and tropical specimen plants throughout.

Decorated in a zen modern-style, the living room features a new sectional couch and chairs and a new rug, a dramatic chandelier, 65" TV, Samsung sound system, stylish art and sculpture. The fully equipped kitchen features high end appliances and ample counter space.

The second floor master suite is reached from a spiral staircase overlooking the living room and spectacular LA views. The master suite features a king bed, new bedding, a sitting area with a couch and fireplace and a dramatic, newly renovated, bathroom ensuite that includes a large soaking tub, large glass shower and lots of natural light.

Double doors in the master bedroom open to a lushly landscaped, spacious private patio with comfortable seating and an incredible outdoor chandelier.

The charming, main floor, guest bedroom features a queen bed, an adjacent bathroom, decorative brick walls and large arched windows looking out to a landscaped deck and the LA skyline.

This home is gated and accessible through a private driveway shared with one other home.

We never got check-in information before arriving. The name of the host and phone number on VRBO was for someone that had not been with the company for a year. When we finally spoke with the actual host, she told us that because our flight landed at 730pm that's why the house wasn't ready at 4pm? This makes zero sense. She told us to go eat at a restaurant or do something for 3 hours while they get the property ready. We were traveling with children and could not wait until 1:30 am our local time for the house to be clean when it should have been ready when we got there, so we got a hotel for the night. The next day we went to the the home to check in and it was not like the pictures. Dripping AC unit onto the floor, water pooled by the glass porch. Wet used towels around the hot tub, broken and loose floor boards throughout the home and around the hot tub. Dirty water backed up in the sink, an ant covered sponge in the other sink, no water pressure in the shower. Wires sticking up through the floor. We tried to get a full refund for the first night we didn't use and they gave us back only the cost of the room not the total cost of the night with fees and tax after trying to get us to take a prorated amount for the hours between 4pm and 11pm when it was actually ready. Location is great, but the host, company, and home itself are terrible. Stay AWAY! I tried to contact this company directly before posting this and they ignored me. I lost an extra 1200 because of this place.

Amazing Experience!

We had an amazing time during our visit. Brooke was very responsive and accommodating and the view from the hills was breathtaking! Once we arrived, we didn’t want to leave the house and we would definitely love to come back again.
