Excellent location and backyard. The house easily accommodated our group which over the stay ranged from 2-8 people. Communicating with the owners, especially the check-in process, was very simple.

Nice location, property needs updating

This home is very spacious and can accommodate a large family, which is what I was looking for — hard to find in this area. The backyard is very pleasant and enjoyable. The location is great, within walking distance to the ocean and many restaurants. But the home itself needs a lot of updating. The carpet is very dirty and needs replacing. The home smells musty as other reviews noted. The front door feels like it will break off because the handle is very wobbly. The bathrooms have severe lime buildup. If these things don’t bother you and you are fine with this for a few days then it’s ok. But for these reasons I couldn’t stay here again. Also it’s run by a large property management company and I found it difficult to communicate with them. For example I could not get access information about the home until two hours before check in time. When I asked for an early check it they told me it would be subject to a fee. I haven’t found this to be the case with any other VRBO owner and it was not cool. I talked to some lady who said she’d have to call the property manager and get an answer to my question, which was annoying. Felt like I was dealing with a hotel and that’s why I’m not staying at a hotel! Hope this review is helpful to future guests and the owner of the property as well.

A lovely experience

I came for a weekend with my mom and sister for a Celebration of Life and this house was a perfect, relaxing home. A great location, bigger than the pics made it look. Lovely outdoor space.

Family stay for a celebration of life event.

This was a beautiful 2 story home in the Belmont heights area of Long Beach. It was quiet, spacious and offered off-street parking. The garden area was adorable.Now, on the downside; The smell throughout the house. I believe it was coming from the old and soiled carpeting on the second floor. It was terrible (the carpeting).The bathroom shower doors were built up with lime and mold. You could smell it when you stepped in the shower. The corners in the bathrooms were black with mold.

Great, clean house for family in a neat neighborhood

Our stay at this house was great! It was very clean and a perfect space for our family to hang out inside or outside. There were lots of restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. A great neighborhood! I would stay here again.

Big house, great location

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space in the home and street parking was easy to come by. Appreciated being walking distance to the beach and the Attic, a great local breakfast spot. One downside is that the water temperature in the showers did not get hot, only lukewarm. Also worth noting that while it's probably not an issue for most, someone lives in the unit above the garage in the backyard.

50th birthday celebration

7 friends gathered at the Belmont Heights house and had a wonderful time - the house is large enough to give us space but with several areas to come together and hang out. We loved walking a block one way for coffee in the morning and a block the other for Thai at night. Plenty of street parking as a plus. The area is quiet and safe, the beds were super comfortable and the communication from the property manager was perfect. There is a separate rental at the back of the property over the garage, which is not unusual for the area, it was just surprising to see it occupied. I would also add that it looks like time for a deep cleaning of the kitchen and downstairs bath, nothing broken or lacking- it just looked well used.

Property was beautiful and ease of actually scheduling our stay was easy. Just a couple of recommendations: 1. on arrival it was a little musty in the home so maybe think about airing it out before guest arrive since check in isn’t until 4p. 2. Instructions on operating TV since not everyone is tech savvy 3. Hand rail in the shower for those who are over 70 for safety

Family trip

The house is in a nice neighborhood convenient to Disneyland, SoFi Stadium and Santa Monica Pier. The house is as pictured with plenty of space for our family of 9. Everything was clean and well stocked including beach towels. We all enjoyed our stay!

Spacious Long Beach house

This is a lovely house, with so many nice touches. It is well located, with easy access to the beach area, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard is very peaceful and it has garage parking. We really enjoyed our stay, wish we had planned to stay longer.
