The beauty of the Great Ocean Road awaits with a rustic coastal stay in the bustling seaside town of Lorne. A beach shack escape, the property showcases stunning ocean views and an open-plan layout; and epitomises indoor-outdoor living.
Perched just one minutes’ walk to the edge of the turquoise waters and 800 metres from the city centre, enjoy the convenience of a spacious outdoor balcony with al fresco dining that’s perfect for a morning coffee, afternoon drink or evening dinner.
Oozing a vintage beach house ambience from top to bottom, this bright three-bedroom home for up to seven guests features polished timber flooring, eclectic furnishings, quirky wall art and a frame of floor-to-ceiling windows that let sunlight streams in and allows for effortless indoor-outdoor living. The most alluring feature, however, is the large outdoor deck that comes furnished with sun loungers and an outdoor dining table where you can enjoy alfresco meals overlooking 180-degree views of the ocean and beyond.
Step off the breezy balcony and into an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space. The lounge area is furnished with a three-seater couch, additional bean bags and a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV; while a dining area offers a round, white timber dining table. You’ll also find a chic, indoor fireplace with a supply of wood and a study area that features a rustic timber desk and chair.
On your nights in, make use of the large, well-equipped kitchen styled with a centre island and white-tiled walls and complete with endless cupboard space and premium appliances including a large fridge, electric cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine.
Three bedrooms offer up room for seven guests. Choose the master bedroom and enjoy direct access to the scenic outdoor balcony as well as a plush queen bed and ocean views. The bright second bedroom is also furnished with a queen bed topped in quality linen and features a ceiling fan, bedside tables and a timber tallboy for storage space; while the final bedroom can sleep three in a double bed and an additional single bed. One main bathroom has a retro feel and offers a shower, toilet and double sinks; as well as a euro laundry with a washing machine.

FOOD Help yourself to everything. We don't believe in food waste and leave non-perishable items left by guests, for other guests to use.
STOVE If the stove won't switch on it's likely the child lock is activated. Hold down the on button for several seconds to switch it on.
DISHWASHING Please do your dishes before checkout.
SAFETY Do not allow children to climb on the railings or wires of the balcony under any circumstances.
LINEN The linen is supplied by a professional laundry service. Please do not, under ANY circumstances wash our sheets or towels.
SMOKING Outside only. Use ashtrays provided.
WASHING Use cold, short settings where possible.
WASTE Please take out rubbish. Recyclables only in yellow-lid bin, no soft plastic, glass in purple bin, general waste in smaller bin.
ISSUES Let us know if you have any maintenance concerns. The sooner we know about problems the sooner we can fix them. Often guests only report issues in reviews and we don't see them for two weeks. Great view and nice location
The property offers an amazing view and is conveniently located close to town, making it easy to walk in and out as needed.The rooms were comfortable, with two of them featuring stunning ocean views. However, there was no dedicated luggage storage in the rooms, which was a minor inconvenience. It would be great if this could be addressed in the future.The deck, which serves as the focal point of the property, had some questionable decking boards that raised safety concerns.The living room was spacious and enjoyable, providing a wonderful space to relax.The kitchen was functional but lacked some essential cookware. It would be helpful if this could be improved, as there was only one pan, which made cooking difficult. The pantry also had minimal essentials.Despite these minor issues, we would stay at the property again due to its excellent location and breathtaking views. We hope this feedback is taken into consideration for future improvements.

Perfect retreat within minutes of the beach
Stunning views, lovely family friendly layout and beach just across the road. We particularly enjoyed the cockatoo and kookaburra visitors to the veranda. Property was clean and shower was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Perfect long weekend getaway
Amazing views of the beach and and great house to stay in! The house itself was really clean, however the bbq was a bit gross from the last users. Would definitely stay again!
Bbq was dirty so we couldn’t use it, we had to cook inside after we cleaned and scrubbed fry pans, couches ripped and very uncomfortable., uncomfortable and dated outdoor furniture.
Smelt old & musty not clean & fresh.
Friendly birds, good quality shampoo & conditioner and view was the highlight.
Cant understand what the cleaning fee is charged for when it’s not clean

What a view!
