It is no secret that the lower end of Polwarth Avenue affords some of the most impressive views in Lorne. Godalming is no exception.
Inside and out, it is impossible not to be impressed. Entry greets guests with an open plan kitchen/dining/ lounge area, all opening onto an enclosed deck via impressive floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. With views through the Erskine Rivermouth, across Loutitt Bay to Airey's lighthouse and beyond, your breath will be taken away.
A galley style kitchen and and L-Shaped lounge take a back seat to the dining, both indoor and outdoor. The living space is flanked to the rear and side by 3 bedrooms and main bathroom, all tastefully decorated with a classic beach feel. The front bedroom boasts direct balcony access and ocean views.
Internally accessed the lower level serves as both second living area and second main bathroom, and daily entry point as an extension of the outdoor shower area. All structural features aside, the location is a cracker.
Only a short stroll from beaches and shops the property gives guest the perfect opportunity to park the car for the entirety of their stay and walk everywhere. Other features include landscaped gardens, outdoor furniture, BBQ facilities and off street parking. The ideal location and spectacular views are what really sets this property apart and lays a firm foundation for your perfect beach side escape.

Lovely Beach House in great central location
Very clean, well appointed beach house in very convenient location to beach, supermarket and main street. 2 separate living areas are great for families and being able to bring our small dog with us was fantastic

A much larger property than expected with a second living area and a beautifully maintained small garden with outdoor hot and cold shower It was really easy walking to the beach, the restaurants, and the shops. We loved the large deck and modern kitchen. Always good to be in Lorne, even if the weather was a bit wild.

wonderful mini break
House is modern inside with lots of natural light through large windows. It was great to stay in winter as the sunshine heated up the house in the mornings. Views to beach were nice from deck.
Easy walk to town and beach.
Lorne is sleepy in winter with lots of shops/restuarants closed.
House may get hot in summer as there is not any shade and only 1 airconditioner.
Good size property for 1 family as living room is quite small. Deck is spacious but not sheltered from sun or rain.
Would recommend to stay here, especially in off peak times

Great place to stay, impressively clean, and a 3 min walk into town. But a bit small for 5-6 adults. The bedrooms were straight off the living room and it was hard to sleep if your friends are up late or up super early. recommend ear plugs

Beautiful property with a view
We loved our stay at this beautiful property with my two kids. The house had all the amenities we required. It is set at a perfect location that is quiet,picturesque and walking distance to the main shopping center and ocean. The views from the house are also stunning.There are many great restaurants and activities at close proximity. The only downside is that we visited when the weather was hot and there was only one Ac that served the living room area and the adjacent bedrooms-so avoid hot times of the year.
Otherwise we loved our stay and will be back again next yr!
